Well, Katrina already entirely devastated New Orleans... And Now Rita is headed towards where many of them fled. >_< God's angry...
Even worse, I heard that there could be a total of seven major hurricanes this year, which is especially bad for all Floridians (such as myself)...
Even WORSE, some experts say that there could be hurricane activity like this for the next decade or so, due to a cycle.
Last year, I thought Charley, Ivan, Jeanne, and Francis were bad. Of course, last year, Charley was the first hurricane I'd even endured. Now, I've been proven that things get much, much worse.
Your thoughts, concerns, etc?

I had relatives that lived in NO, my uncle and his 2 sisters stayed because they were doctors/nurses while their parents fled.
The strangest part? My uncle's house is still standing, barely touched. They will all move in with him.
I guess he's lucky he lived on a hill, and not 1/2 a mile from Lake Ponchatrain, like his parents did. Guess what happened to their house. Glub, glub, glubbbb..... And my other uncle is in Livingston, TX with the other evacuees. Lucky me.....

God is sending the world a sign.
Hoping that we all will see it.
Will we?

My idea is that Rita will flood New Orleans and they'll NEVER be able to re-build it. It will be under water. The stupid terrorists are messing up the freaking continent!! Damn them!

In my opinion, I agree with you Cros. I do think our worlds conclusion is not too far away.

Thank you.
You all have to remember. The world was ended once by water, God says that it will end in fire this time.
Like all people, God can change his mind and flood the world agian. There still is a possible chance of a inferno ending but there is alot of young readers here and I rather let them grow up first.
If your interested in my speech, Just PM me.

Plus the god d*** gas prices everyone gonna go poor eccept for gas companies these hurricaines just make me mad They need to make Oil Refineries HURRICIANE PROF put em in a concrete steel concrete then more steel shelter then you dont have to worry bout it but anyways hurricaines just anger me.

Speaking of hurricanes and gas, I heard that after Rita, gas prices around the Gulf could be as high as $5 a gallon... That'd be TERRIBLE, and I don't even drive...
Personally, I'm agreeing with Cros on this one... There's a little someone, who's up there some where, and he's ticked as the place where he sends bad people.... *is keeping the forum clean for the little ears*
*goes to PM Crosman to listen to speech*

Firstly, the Book of Revelations states there is no way to predict the end of the world.
Secondly, God made a promise to Noah and that promise will not be broken.
Thirdly, anyone who wants to blame the occurrence of a hurricane on ANYONE or ANYTHING will run the risk of being banned from the forums. I'm sorry, you need a POSITIVE IQ to be here.

Yeah I'm not religous but the world is going through quite a strange period. Hurricanes, tsunamis, etc...
The Mayan calendar places the end of the world as we know it at 2011...

These recent natural disasters are in my opinion undoubtably the effect of Global Warming as is the British winters getting colder.
I was surprised when I heard there was an F2/T4 Tornado in Birmingham of all places and supposed to be more.
Katrina & Rita, very powerful hurricains, also the result of the climate change in my opinion.
Winter's getting colder. This is due to the "conveyer belt" effect. Global Warming can in a way become Global Cooling. Anyone who's seen The Day After Tomorrow will know what I mean.
BTW, what's the Mayan Calendar? If that's true what a stupid time to be born in.

What TK's trying to say is don't say God was mad and decided to kill people, or that terrorists built a weather machine to destroy New Orleans. It's fine to say cold air does this and hot air does this...blah blah....blah.
Hurricanes are nature, TK just wants to make sure it stays that way.

It's common sense basically.
Everyone has different beliefs, everyone's entitled to those beliefs, but of course people are going to argue that their belief system is right over everyone elses who are wrong. This of course will always end in arguements, wars and so on.
Put quite simply, religion shouldn't be bought into any discussion on the forums like it has been done here. This was a seemingly harmless topic about the consequences of the Hurricanes. Can we please return it to that. I don't care who your god is, may he help you if you reply with anything remotely connected to religion
But please feel free to continue talking about the Hurricanes, because I think they are a really interesting discussion point.

Yeah. Ophelia died down, I think, either that or it was just a tropical storm. I don't know much about Ophelia, myself. Then again, I never watch the news. XD
