If you're using the Java app then try clearing all your cookies and then try again.
If you're using Mac OS mIRC doesn't work, but you can get Colloquy instead. I know initially I felt jibbed at that integral question... but looking back now, it's probably the best question anyone's ever thrown in. Thanks for hosting btw, next time (hopefully soon!) maybe I can go for gold.
