I have created a website and it is on a server at godaddy.com but whenever i type out the URL I must put .html at the end of the URL. Can anyone help me solve this problem because I see many sites that you do not have to put .html or something else. |

To put it simply.... You can't. I know, I have an angelfire hosted website and I was so frustrated. You have to put the .html syntax. Sucks. By the way, I like your signature. |

Well that's all I know. I mean I thought if you bought a domain name than ".html" shouldn't be there. I know alot of things but I don't have much experince with websites. |

Ok well it's fixed I called the support team at godaddy I'm just wondering why didn't i think of this before 
In order for the .html extension to not be there you must change the name to index.html Moderators please feel free to lock this topic |
