About a year or so ago now an Upstart began blowing steam and New Psypoke came to be.
In the 316 days Psopoke has existed it has grown to 1035 members posting roughly 42615 articles. And still yet it grows!
When averaged out Psypoke gets Roughly 3 new members and roughly 135 new posts each day it has existed. If these numbers hold we will exceed 2000 members and 84,620 posts by this time next year!!
This is a demigod in the making but remember spam is hallow and fill make this Demigod extreemly fat

*Staggering*... Just because I've seen other forums growing up a lot faster. But that only means we prefer quality to quantity.

I see plenty of forums with tens of thousands of members. We are a mere kit beside a Warrior. I do think though, that in time our growth with exceed many!

I'd say our growth is average, at best. We're not exploding or anything. Not yet.
One thing I did notice, though, is that when you made your prediction for growth, you seemed to use linear growth. However, I don't think that's very accurate. You're assuming a constant rate the whole time. However, the first day or two, there was an explosion (from the 4 E4 + E4Admin to about 30 people with all the "classic" members getting the news of the new forums) and then it slowed down instantly. It's since been growing again. I think that exponential growth would work much better for such a thing, because the more members we have, the more we get advertised. So, I'd expect that by June 17th, 2006, we'll have at least 2500 members, probably closer to 3000. Posts are DEFINITELY exponental, so we'll be well over 100k posts by this time next year. It might be a little closer to 150k. Then again, since I'm already done with school for the year, I've forgotten the formula for exponential growth, so... ;P

Exponential growth: y=10(r+t)^k . . . if memory serves.
