I seriously risked my life taking these photos, but I just had to because I knew they'd be pretty. The pictures don't really do justice for what was really there, but they're a decent representation. On my way there, the roads weren't very well plowed and it was snowing hard. Considering those factors and that it was night time (No street lights in almost all of the Metroparks), my visibility was a good 20 ft. Ohio's state mammal is the dear and with good reason. There was a great chance that one could be in the middle of the road or jump out in front of the car and total it. Secondly, I was not prepared to climb the hill I had to to take these pictures. I had no boots or gloves or any kind of assistance, other than my bare hands in the snow. The hill was very narrow and if I slipped, I would have slid out of control, either back down, into some trees, or off the side of the "cliff," for lack of a better word, into a stream. I'd have to say it was worth it though.
I'm not much of a photographer, so the pictures aren't that great. To take the photos, I had to set it at long exposure (15 seconds), since it was about 8 pm. I didn't have a tripod, so I either had to find a post to set it on or make a mound of snow with my bare hands. But I like taking pictures, and especially of cities and nature, so I risked death and freezing to get them.
I know this one is blurry, but I tried to take a couple of different views, and as it turned out, only two of those views didn't turn out blurry. So, I added this one, because it's still decent. That little hump in between the trees is where I climbed up.
These two are relatively the same view. Little bit of the stream, the park, and the abyss I would have and almost slid off into twice while on top of the hill.
More trees and a trail.
I'm alive, and these are the pictures of my adventure. I hope you liked them. If you don't, I don't really care. C'est tout.

At first glance I thought you should have posted in the photo album, but then again these aren't photos of yourself, so meh.
Anyway... Yuki! Haha that word means "snow". I love snow, and I've always found scenery with snow especially... enchanting? beautiful? Yeah, so thanks for these pictures.
I had a chance to see snow when I went to Korea in winter last year, but the weather there was considerably warmer than past years (according to the tour guide) and I had no glimpse of snow in my seven days there. I did, however, see artificial snow on the ski slopes at the ski resort which I stayed at on the last two days. I also saw real snow on the ground on my last morning, but I didn't get a glimpse of how it was like to have snow falling from the skies. What a pity, eh?
Singapore is summer all-year round, FYI, because it's so close to the equator and therefore gets a lot of sun. I've never seen temperatures below 20 degress Celsius, let alone see snow

Very nice. I myself like to take pictures as well, but I am shy about sharing them with others (so shoot me).
You know, after seeing your pictures, Ohio looks just as beautiful as it is up here in Wisconsin.

Yeah, snow is really pretty. I hear a lot of complaining about it, but I love it. Even though it's really cold, it's worth it for the beauty of it.

Bah, you're missing out Sneasel, definately. It's the best cuddling weather. : )
There are a lot of great things about snow and cold winters. Anyone who complains and seeks warmer climates are pansies and take it for granted.

I seriously want to see snow at least once in my life. To throw a snowball (not you, sN0wBaLL), to make a snowman, a snow angle, a snow angle, a snow cheeseburger, a snow toaster oven...
And the irony is that Sneasel is half Ice type, and can only be found in snowy caves/mountains.

It's supposed to snow here in Pennsylvania tonight... I hate snow. Too cold. Brr. I miss California especially in the winter.

Sadly... it snowed here too. :/
I'm sorry, but I can't stand snow. Its pretty and everything, but I walk to school in it. :/ I'd rather walk to school on a nice, sunny day in shorts and t-shirt than a hat that messes up my hair, and a huge coat that makes me look like a whale.

This was taken off of my front porch.
I know it's dark. I took it in the semi-night time. I'll take another one tomarrow when it's still bright out.
Point is, snow is evil.

Snow is so pretty though! We don't get snow where I live, its very sad.. I just love snow
I actually like SK's pic best - I dunno why though. I guess landscape photos have never appealed to me, but SK's pic is so.. I dunno. I just like it

To each his own. It could be the flash. Flash has a particularly interesting effect on snow. They look like stars in front of you.
This is one on "blank space," so I guess it loses it's congruous juxtaposition on something like a street but may be a clearer example. I took this one last year on Christmas Eve.

Oh, now that's cool! I like that one! Mind if I use it as a background for some sigs? *Mind works furiously, working out a beautiful new design with that pic as a background..*

I had a dream it snowed last night. I wish it would here, though it does every few years. But my folks back in Cleveland get more than enough, maybe they could send some over to Portland.

Still no snow here...it usually snows by now, but we've been getting rain a lot.
I only like snow around Christmas Time. It was so disappointing last year when I was in Florida for Christmas...

The day it snows in lisbon the weather is officially completely messed up.
Regardless, snow looks pretty and all but I bet I'd grow sick and tired of it, pretty much like rain, if I had to put up with it all winter.

We got snow about two weeks ago up here in Wisconsin.
Wisconsin is a great place to take pictures, especially of snow.
I have some pretty cool pics to share, but unfortunately I have to wait to upload them to the computer. I'll try to post them ASAP.

I remember going upto a forest near my town when it was snowing last year, theres a small mountain there and me and my uncle climbed it with his dog, when we got to the top my uncles dog ran right back down the side of the mountain again, so my uncle asked me to go get him, so there I was, walking down the side of a mountain, it was snowing, and then a come to a large boulder, well I climb on top of it and leapt off it, THAT was my first mistake, I landed on a frozen stream..... yeah a stream that how cold it was, I fall onto my back and go sliding about 500 metres down the mountain, and then I stopped, I looked around and my coat was snagged on a particulary sharp rock, so I un-snag it, THAT was my second mistake because the stream went off a waterfall, not a massive one like in cartoons, but it was still about a two metre drop and so I go flying over it and land in a river, luckily it wasn't a strong current so I was able to wade over to the other side, and then I see my uncles dog barking at a squirrel, so I call him and he runs over and then I here my uncle calling my name and then a loud shout of: "WHAT THE.... AGGGGH!", and surely about two minutes later my uncle comes flying over the waterfall and lands in the river. All in all it was quite a fun day, well except for the sliding down the side of a mountain, but the moral of the story is, never jump off boulders in below zero weather.

I took some brighter pictures today.
It was ungodly cold today! Last night, a lot of the snow was melting, then it all froze today. We passed by the bank earlier and the sign said it was 10 degrees out...
I'm glad I shoveled last night.

You guys are lucky, I'd do anything to play in the snow. But the only problem is, it doesn't rain in South Florida.
But damn, in the summer it gets hotter than the blazes of hell.
Plus we get all the humidity, that makes it even worse.

Snow update: It did snow today. White Thanksgiving! It didn't snow like those pictures that Datvu posted, but it snowed all the same. It's supposed to snow even more. I hate snow. I am willing to trade houses with anybody living in a tropical climate.
