I was filling up the van for my dad while he was getting soda at Snappy's. I was amazed at the gas prices. The total was around $56.00. Gahh! This is crazy. It was unbelievable; at noon that day, the gas cost about $2.99. Four hours later, just four, and the gas price rose by twenty cents! How are your gas prices where you live? I live in Central Pennsylvania, so compared to our prices, yours could be even higher. EDIT: *hopes nobody noticed horrible grammar error and corrects* |

I live in Kentucky. They are about... $3.10 I don't drive for another year, though. But I feel sorry that my parents have to pay. I think in Georgia it's like... $7.00? |

Yeah, I know that it's really high in Georgia. I believe it's because they're so close to Louisiana, so that's where they get most of their gas. Not sure on this, but it sounds right at least. Wow, it costs a lot in the UK. You don't drive much though, do you? Usually you walk, yes? I've never been to England, but my mom has, and she said that she did a lot of walking. ?? |

The prices here are usually just below 3.00$ and just above 2.50$, somewhere in the middle. |

Gas has gotten as high as $2.99 here recently, but it averages either $2.59 or $2.79. Not even a year ago, we were all shocked to see the first $2.XX price, and just a few summers ago, there was practically a riot when it got back up above $1.00. But, don't worry! OPEC is boosting production to help us through this crisis. And all those extra barrels of gas are.. sitting right over there in warehouses, like 90% of all the gas they produce. Yes, production is boosted, but how about shipping? Let's face it; we all know that if OPEC wanted to, they could supply us with enough gas to get it back below $2.00 no problem; $1.29 would be a piece of cake (I still remember when that was "expensive"). But the fact is they don't want to. And why should they? They have us right where they want us; we're completely dependent on them and can't do a thing about it. Hooray for 27MPG and a tank that lasts 12+ days for ~$40. |

Gas has become $2.99 to $3.60 a gallon for Unleaded here, which I think is insane, you could actually get a Pokemon Card Pack for less or about the same as 1 Gallon of Gas. |

Too much!!! I have 2 cars, one thats been in the shop for over a year and would kill me at the pump which im kinda glad thats in the shop i dont know if I can feed a 5.0 liter V8 monster. It's my 2.4 liter 4 cylinder import and $20 bucks at the pump doesnt fill it up anymore it bearly fills it half way anymore. It's almost forcing my unlce to sell his 5.7 liter V8 SUV which gets about 13 miles to the gallon, but uses for those ugly winters. |

As certain people make fun of me for *coughFScough*, I live in New Jersey. Here gas prices were around $2.50 until the hurricane, now they're around $3.20 on average. |

Dont get me started on NJ, I hate that you can't pump your own gas there I tell and watch the attendent not to spill a drop of gas on my paint. When i had my chevy it was fun to watch the attendent to look for the fuel door, espeacially when i hand them over the key to the gas cap, im LMAO while looking in the mirror at him frantically searching until he'll come up to the window and ask, and i tell him to flip down the plate and i tell him not to spill a drop on the paint on the bumper. |

Why can't you guys fill up your own tank? That's a rather stupid rule I think... anyway, gas here in PA hasn't risen yet, I expect it to go down... it looks like we're on the upper end of prices for the US! EDIT: #25! |

For now, its only $3.00. Last week, it was $4.00. I hope it goes down soon, my mom has been real grouchy lately, and I think gas prices have something to do with it, because she always cusses her head off when we pass a gas station. |
