I have ALWAYS used Windows I had a Mac ONCE and it well to put it nicley it didnt work good AT ALL.

Windows is way much better to me. I've been using it all my life. XP is very sleekish, smooth looking. I've never actually been on a Mac PC before. Windows is very reliable too, great PC's. |

I used to be a Mac user, and they are so much better. They crash less and get less viruses. The only problem is that Mac doesn't get the latest and the greatest software, and it sucks having to settle for second best. That's why we changed to Microsoft, and regretted since. |

Windows sucks really bad - but Mac is worse. Sure, it doesn't get as many viruses - but it doesn't get anything else. As Undeadcutlet said, if you choose to use a Mac, you're settling for the second best, because nobody makes software for Mac because it's not a profitable market. Windows > Mac, but Windows also sucks. |

Once you get used to mac, you'll love it. Everyone loves windows for 2 reasons: everyone uses it, and the software. There are countless different softwares compatible with the system, while mac is quite limited. However, mac can be way more practical and versatile, especially if you work with computers for a living, not sheer fun. Then is when mac reveals it's true potential, honest. I work on windows 'cause it's all I have, but when I get the opportunity (a.k.a. money), I'll switch to macintosh, I'll be done with college by then. |

I vote for MACs. I've used windows all my life but my mom has a MAC laptop and some of my friends have macs and they are SO much better. Once you get used to it it's fine. |

Tux for great justice. My main computer is a windows machine, yes. The fact is, so long as 98% of the world uses windows, I'll have to. It just doesn't pay to try and nonconform. I'm not a big fan of Mac interfaces.. they just don't "work" for me. However, I can't deny that when it comes to digital editing of any kind, you cannot get any better than a Mac. Linux and Unix though. There's great promise there. A stable OS, improved by the whole world. They've gotten out of the command line days, and you now have Linux desktops. Plus, it's free! I believe that, as computers continue to improve, we're going to see more and more people using linux. It's free, it's powerful, it comes in dozens of varieties, and it's a LOT lighter on system resources. Linux is the future. |

One good thing about windows: It's DEFINETLY the best when it comes to computer gaming. It must suck to have to wait for a mac or linux version to come out while your friend jams on his windows. |

That's where the dedicated Linux gamers come in with their ports, then they get hired to do Linux versions. I run windows and Linux however this system I'm using now is windows. |

Windows. I've been using Windows almost all my life, and have only used Mac several times (when using my friends' computers which have Mac), so I guess I'll vote for Windows for its user-friendliness

Windows. I have used Mac (We have them at school) but I can never get used to them. Yes, the Mac has better movie and image editing software, but windows has every other piece of crap. Although Mac's can't get most viruses, only the really serious ones are written for mac and windows. So, windows pwns all really. And the fact that a Mac OS costs around 150 pounds over here in the 51st state. That why it's windows all the way. |
