Heh, this topic came into mind while I was cleaning mine out. What's in yours? What was in mine before I cleaned it out (mainly books): "Birds of America", by Audubon "Auschwitz" "Wicca" "Zits Unzipped: Sketchbook Number 5" Bloody Roar: Primal Fury instruction book Random pair of gloves from about three months ago Mini Magic 8 ball Random pieces of paper Pencils Heh ^_^ I've got a sling backpack. My binder doesn't fit in it anyways...heh. |

Interesting topic, but I rarely carry around a book bag. You'll understand once you're in high school. :p (Actually, I usually carry around pens and pencils, calculator, and CD player in my hoody, and use that instead of a bookbag >.>; ) Anyway, when I DO carry it around, I usually have tons of papers, a few folders (that I don't use lolz), pencils, calculator, pens, Parenting/Math books, and my CD player 8) |

Lessie, a binder, a textbook (Environmental Science), another binder, a bunch of loose papers, a graphing calculator, some spare change, my watch (so that's where it was!), some playing cards, a pen, and my GBA (with Fire Emblem). Nope, I seem to have left my witty comment somewhere else. |

I only use it for transportation of goods as you do Gardevoir. However, I did have a type of secondary backpack. It held two binders and all my supplies, but too many sarcastic remarks came along saying I looked like a nerd, so I ditched it. So far I've had 3 instances where a peer of mine needed something that I only carried in that briefcase. Goes to show if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all. Karma. It happens. |

Wow, rubypoke, that must be really heavy. My schoolbag is usually pretty empty. On the two days on which I have math class I bring my math notebook and textbook, plus a calculator, but on other days I don't, obviously. I'll usually have at least one notebook in there to doodle in (and NOT to take notes in, mind you), and of course, my pencil case complete with pens, markers, and pencils of all shapes, sizes and uses. I also bring along a water bottle, sandwich, wallet, key to my house, and that's it. |

I have a sling bag for my schoolbag, and usually it contains my pencil case, an umbrella, a flimsy file with notes, assignments and everything related to my special papers for Bio and Chem. My bag also contains a calculator, my CD player, and a small bottle of water. That's about it. All my notes for the various school subjects that I take are kept in a file, which I carry around with my hand. |

My SchoolBag has: Textbooks Pencil Case (inside:pencils, pens, graphite, correction tape, ruler) Large Notebook Small Notebook Exercise Book Raincoat Scientific Calculator School T-Shirt File Rope Geometry set Safety Pin Wow, you guys r so lucky. Handphones, <s>CD players</s> I don't like' em... But I'm lucky too. Handphones harm the brains younger than 18. Doing exercise almost everyday. Funny why I like lifting heavy bags than light ones.[/offtopic] My other for-fun backpack has: A notebook to record down (something that you don't want to know) Another pencil case with the same things as the one in my schoolbag $5 as "spare money" in case I lost my wallet Papers |

Probably why I hold my binder in my hand. However, that's also because a sling bag, having only one strap, puts quite a lot of strain on your shoulder (whichever shoulder you prefer to use) when it's heavy, and my binder IS heavy. |

I guess I should stop complaining about how my backpack seems heavy: "User Unfriendly" by Vivian Vande Velde(for fun) "Airborne" by Kenneth Oppel(for AR points) "Silverwing" by "" My junky Lisa Frank (tm) binder full of old papers from 1st Semester My CD Player in 1 compartment Random pencils in another compartment My bulky CD case in "" You get the point. But I guess it's the binder that weighs it down. Or the fact that I once has my 10-pound Mythology book inm my backpack! Don't ask why... |

Wish I had a sling-bag - I've been trying to get my hands on one for aaages, and you just can't get them in this silly country for some reason.. Anyway, what's normally in my school-bag.. well, obviously, my damn-heavy binder, my pencil case (complete with a million and one textas! ), my school diary/organiser/whatever-you-want-to-call-it, whatever text-books I need for the 6 subjects I have daily ( >.< ), whatever extra stuff I need (example, prac stuff for Food Tech, calculator for Maths, The Getting of Wisdom for English) and, most importantly... My ART BOOK!! Where would I be without something to draw in daily? |

My backpack? My friend calls it "the black hole of doom". Barely anything comes out of it intact. The exceptions-the things I dont put in the main chamber of the monstrous black hole. I put my DS, and occasionally my GBASP in it. In a different pocket. (I play them at recess..) Its my special black-hole repellent that keeps it from dying. -Gardevoir~ |
