Well, they may not be unhealthy, but do you have an obsession with something that's a bit odd/you can't explain? I have an odd obsession with almost everything related to the Holocaust, namely the camp Auschwitz-Birkneau. I can't explain it... but every time I see a book in the library or a show on TV about the Holocaust, I have to rent/watch it. I've read the books Maus and The Diary of a Young Girl, among others...I'm trying to figure out why I'm so obsessed. I think it has something to do with a past life or something. Maybe a ghost. I don't know. |

I have an unhealthy obession with something called "the internet." This thing consumes all my time outside school/sleeping, and feeds on my social anxiety and boredness. I don't know what it is about the internet that drives me to it like a magnet either. This has got to be the worst obession ever =( There is also this really addictive game that I play on my GBA called "pokemon." I'm waaay too old to be playing this game, but its so addictive, I can't help it. Edit: Actually I think the cause of my internet obession is the invention of IRC. I'm on it ALL the time. I thought if I left an FF channel that I was on 24/7 and join a pokemon channel called #psypoke, the obession would die a bit, but it just got worse... |

I think I might have an obsession with food, well although I don't eat at school, but at home I basically eat junk food and i've been getting mad. It's been a couple of weeks and I have sustained myself from eating a lot of junk food. I'm feeling much healthier and hopefully keep on doing this. |

If I didn't have a girlfriend, I would probably request a lot more time at work. Sometimes I feel good at work, and I wouldn't mind staying a lot longer. It's really one of the only places I feel productive and usefull, and I know I'm making money. I actually feel great after working 10+ hour shifts (12-16 is ideal). I have an inkling I would be a workaholic had I no real social involvements that made me feel even better. |

There is also this really addictive game that I play on my GBA called "pokemon." I'm waaay too old to be playing this game, but its so addictive, I can't help it. So me. Although, admittedly, I have the curse of obsessing with.. well, pretty much anything. It changes regularly, and I can be obsessed with anything - people, things, animals. I'm sure you all remember when I was obsessed with our dear Admin... A list of things I've recently been obsessed with (Recent as in the past month): Drawing chibi Making Fiends Hyperactive Pacnet Gaining more respect points with people of authority who don't think much of me at the current time the song Intuition [Jewel] I think that's it. I must be having a pretty sane month EDIT: Hey wait, its April! Well, this is for April and March |

Music. In general, music. I'm definitely obsessed with it. I've ALWAYS got a song in my head, including when I'm trying desperately (but in vain) to fall asleep at night. I've been known to be whistling (rather off key, mind you) and not even realize it. Also, I'm obsessed with most electronics. The whole field is just facinating to me, mainly because I don't really understand much about it at all. I mean, think about it: load a music CD into your computer right now. That's a piece of plastic with colored dye on some foil. A laser hits it, and has the ability to "read" the color. It relays the color as a series of electrons through traces and chips and the processor, which sends the electrons through more traces and chips into a metal connector that has a metal plug inserted into it. The electrons pass through these pieces of metal and then through some wires, reach another set of plug and connector, and then into your headphones/speakers. These in turn interpret the electrons into a series of vibrations and do some crazy stuff with magnets, and you get MUSIC. I you understand that, I envy you, because that sorta stuff just blows my mind. |

Um, IRC. I don't know how much more I could explain it. IRC is half my life. I don't mind that though, as it's mad fun. *points to location* If it's not IRC, it's hanging out with friends--movies, parties, and the like. I suppose that that's my other obsession. Yes, I'm simple. |

I have an obsession with certain animals. Wolves, rats, ravens, bulls and frogs. For some reason ,when i am near them or am touching them, I feel stronger, I don't feel human any more. I believe it has something to do with past lives. Yes, I do believe in reincarnation, as such i do not fear death. Hear that ya stupid black-winged angel? Bring it on, I'll bite ya arms off. |
