It pays to stay put in one place for a long period of time. You'll develop a sense of belonging to the surroundings. Besides, moving away again and again means that you have to leave your friends repeatedly, and then restart the process of making new friends. Unless of course you stay in a really small country like mine, where keeping in touch wouldn't be a huge problem, that is something undesirable.
Personally I've only moved once myself, from the north to the east of my country. But then again that's only 20 kilometres apart at the most =p

7 times, 2 of which were before I was old enough to remember.
So, yeah I guess I've moved around a bit.
I agree with sN0wBaLL, moving often is really frustrating. Still, sometimes you need to leave.
I used to live in urban Ohio, in a really crummy neighborhood. Buying bikes and Pokemon cards was futile, because whenever we went away for a few hours our stuff disappeared. There were few (If any) good, honest children to play with, and those we did find often moved away. After living there for five years, we moved to rural Wyoming, where everyone was honest, kind and hard-working. (Well, I guess everyone couldn't have been all that.. I just never met anyone who wasn't. ) Living there was a great trust-building experience, and we were able to recover after being picked on and hurt.
So, sometimes moving can be very good. Personally, I like moving, in a weird sort of way. It's nice to have new experiences and be in different situations.
Anyway, hope you like your new house, DarkPhantom. ^_^ Good luck with the move!

Hmm, lemme count . . . nine. My folks divorced when I was a wee lad, and there was a lot of house shuffling going on.

I've moved twice. One was to another state, the other was just to another town within the same state.
That's it.

Well, I know I've lived in Doonside (Australia), and in my grandma's old house (Australia), and in Raliegh, North Carolina (America), and in Orchard Hills (Australia), and I now live in Hazelbrook, Blue Mountains (Australia). So ... how many's that?

I've only moved once. That was so long ago I can't remember where I left. All I remember is me playing around in the back of a blue truck. I have a few pictures of some girl I don't know, I might have known her from back then though.

I have moved.. twice, I think. I think we lived in an apartment in downtown Minneapolis when I was born, but we soon moved to a suburb of St. Paul. 12 years ago, we moved out of there into this house. In about 13 months I'll be moving off to a college dorm.
I obviously don't remember the apartment we had, and I didn't really mind moving from our old house. In fact, I was quite excited; I was the only kid in our old neighborhood.
I like this house. It's big enough (despite my inability to find a place to put all my junk) and it's a good neighborhood. And, I rather like suburbia. I can still see the outline of the city on a clear day, but there room to breathe here. It's a good fit to me.

Just the once, from one town to another close by. Because my mum had a job there and we moved so she could walk there. Plus, I could walk to school then. Plus, there are less chavs here. But I'm away from Z><L|-8 now, I have to cycle 6 miles to see him.

Well, there was once when I was 1 year old. And there were a couple of move arounds when I was really small, but then when my brother was born, we moved to this house that I'm typing this in, and we haven't moved since!

I moved once when I was like a baby, 1 year old. As the old cottage was cute but getting too small.
Been in this 100 year old pile of junk for 13/14 years. It's nice, but creepy and old. I wouldnt mind moving to a more modern house. But staying in the same area.

From what I can remember, I've only moved once. This was when I was a baby or toddler, can't remember >_>
Meh, I only moved about 20 metres from my old house, so I don't really mind. (And I was a baby/toddler, so it didn't make much of a difference.)

I have moved once, from Michigan to Rhode Island when I was 5. And also, I do never want to move again, or just until I graduate.
