I have so many favorites...so here goes...
The Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer (Most favorite: Breaking Dawn)
The Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling (Most favorite: Deathly Hallows)
My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult
Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult
The Diary of a teenage girl series by Melody Carlson (Most favorite: Becoming Me)
The What If... series by Liz Ruckdeschel and Sara James (Most favorite: What If Everyone Knew Your Name)
Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead (Fave: Frostbite)
The Percy Jackson and the Olympians series(aka Lightning Thief, Sea of Monsters, Titan's Curse and Battle of the Labyrinth) by Rick Riordan (Favorite: The Battle of the Labyrinth)
And so many more that I can't think of right now. I suggest you read all the books or series, because they're all addicting (especially Twilight and Vampire Academy...at least for those who like vampires.)
EDIT:I changed the fave of The Lightning Thief Series because at that time, I had not read The Battle of the Labyrinth. Which I waited three months for. And only got it for two weeks. (Screw the library system).
By the way, I also changed the name of the author for Vampire Academy. I was too lazy to go on Google that day. And I put my favorite. So ya. That is all.

ugh, artemis fowl was terrible. i put the book down as soon as i got to the part about the elf in the first book. i'm being forced to read twilight by a friend because she wants to convince me it's good. it's awful, and i'm only on chapter three. i can't bear to read it at home.

Vampirates by Justin Somper
The Watsons go to Birmingham - 1963 by Christopher Paul Curtis

I think 'Lemony Snicket' is brilliant. He is definately my favourite author, because those books are just writen brilliantly. I really hope he writes another series.
I think my favourite books are probably the Noughts and Crosses trilogy, because those books were very emotional/impacting. They made me cry a bit at the sad parts. Alot of Malorie Blackman's books are quite good I think.
The CHERUB series by Robert Muchamore is also completely awsome. My favourites I think were 'The Fall'/'The Sleepwalker', although I loved 'The General' too. I can't wait another year for 'Brigands MC' though
I liked the books 'Shock of Your Life' and 'Aftershock', by Adrian Holloway, although note that they're christian books that explain the faith; they are writen as a very good fiction story though, about three 18-21 year olds who all get killed in this car accident, and what happens to all three of them after they die, and then 'Aftershock' carries on with the story and answers alot of Christian questions. It's a good book for people are agnostic about Christianity, or want to know about the faith.
The author used to go to my church too.
I know I'm missing something else really good I read recently, I just can't think what.

How could you say that, Valentine..?
Oh, and then certaintly Un Lun Dun by China Mieville. Perfect, perfect perfect. I positively adore his unique style of writing.
Harry Potter. (obviously! who could not love those sparkling gems of literature?)
And lastly but by no means leastly, the Demonata, by Darren Shan. Amazing horror, perfectly written.
