THIS IS A STORY THAT TAKES PLACE 2 YEARS BEFORE ASH STARTED HIS OWN JOURNEY, IN A TIME WHERE TEAM ROCKET ACTUALLY STOOD A CHANCE, AND WHEN A BEAST THRIVED. OF COURSE, I SHALL STICK TO THE ANIME'S MOTTO AND SAY THAT THEY KNEW EVERY SINGLE POKEMON THAT EVER EXSISTED.

Twinleaf Town:The nights slip away from the bed of a now 10 year old kid, Danny. The sheets rustle as the morning sun floods onto the boy's eyes. Danny wakes up, with only a little santa-style hat, except green with polka dots, and wearing PJs. He realizes what day it was, and rushes to get dressed. He brushed his teeth and went down stairs and reached for a Pecha Berry, when he grabbed a Tamato Berry. He almost bit on it, but stopped and examined the berry, and put it down and got the Pecha Berry. He almost left without anyone noticing, when....Mime Jr. came out.
Mime Jr.:Mime?
Danny: I'm getting a friend is all.
And Danny left, because today was the day that he would get a pokemon. He was going into Route 201, not expecting anyone to be there except...
Brendan: Need any help through 201?
Brendan was the escorter for Twinleaf Town.
Danny: Might as well.
When he got to Prof. Rowan's lab, he left the escorter and went in.
Prof. Rowan: Hello, I suspect that you are Danny?
Danny: Yes
Prof. Rowan: Why so early?
Danny: I really wanted to get my Pokemon!!!!!!!
Rowan: Well, if you insist.
Rowan then stepped away from the pokeballs, and started reading a book.
Rowan: GO AHEAD!
Danny rushed to the pokeballs and picked his choice: the Turtwig.
Rowan: So, you want Turtwig? Go ahead, take him......see if I care.
As Danny ran back home, he saw a beast flying in the sky, purple and white and holding the desire to kill. Although Danny didn't know it, the beast was no other that Shadow Lugia, who Danny would see many times over again.
