I was just sitting around today and I had a crazy idea, "What would Gyarados's Evolution look like?" So I decided to draw what I think it might look like, and I guess I cam up with everything but a name...



Description: _________, the Ornamental Pokemon, Type(s)- Dragon, Water

_________, the evolved form of Gyarados, has three golden plates on it's body, one on it's head, and two on it's serpent-like body. It has 4 fins on it's side that are virtually usless, but give ________ a flowing, elegant look. It is said to appear after a Gyarados has lived for 1000 years.


Oh yah, so what do you think? Have any idea's for a name?

I give it a 10/10. My skills are no where nere that. My skills would lay upon the 4/10-6/10 rankings. If this was math though I would be in the 8/10-10/10 rankings. I thought of parts of the name. Magic,Dragon,Beast. I don't know a good way to combined them though.

Wow, thanks for all the postive feedback! Anyways I'm planning to make this one a yellow-gold colour, becuase Magicarp is Red, Gyarados is blue, and well it would make sense for this one to be yellow.

Thanks, yes I had decided from the begining, that I would make this a gold/yellow colour. It made sense the most, with Magikarp being red, and Gyarados blue, it makes sense that it would be yellow.

I dunno, I think the eyes look better not pokemonish. They give it that fierceness instead of the cuteness that most pokemon have.

It's face reminds me of a Japanese kabuto; if Kabuto weren't already a Pokemon, I'd call it that.
Alot of people are mentioning that it seems Chinese or Japanese. Thus, I call it: "Omkarukai."

Since Pokemon is Japanese, I made the name a blend between the adjective "omukashi," old; the noun "ryu," dragon; and the suffix "kai," meaning it is water in the style of Pokemon names.

It looks vicious in a good and bad way it is awesome could you make a Milotic evo?
