They're decent, but they could use work.

You aren't doing any form of editing other than recoloring and adding in highlights. You also need to add in a shaded area, with a darker color where no shadow hits the image. Anyways, your highlights need some work too. The light source for all pokemon sprites is above, and to the direction they're facing, which is almost always left. You have them in places that light probably wouldn't be shining too hard on. For the snowboarder sprite, I'd have them on the shoulder and the hat, maybe on the glove on our left.

Your borders also need work. Normally, the highlighted sections border is the base color of that section. Then, you have a border color for the base color, which is not black, but still pretty dark. For your shaded section, the border is usually black. But your border is black all around.

Also, you have to revamp the WHOLE image. There are certain parts that still have colors from the previous sprite, mostly purple. Just get rid of those.

As a whole, they're decent I guess. Actually, they're pretty good 'cuz you're a begginer. Though, you have room for improvement, keep it up! I want to see your future workk

She said that she wanted constructive critiscism, which I beleive that is. It will make her art a lot better, I'm not bashing her up or anything, and yes, I can make art like that. [/b]
