Here is the Pikachu comic (as requested by Confused Flareon). The pics are from Pokesho. I included a brief summary before each slide. Again, I do not speak Japanese, so some of these summaries may have errors in them.
1. This is the order in which the comic should be read.
2. In the Pokemon world, Pikachu lives happily in his little house (you just gotta love the Pikachu design
).
3. They all played without a care in the world. One day, Pikachu reads a book about balloons and soon learns how to fly using them.
4. Pikachu soon mastered the art of flying. However, a battle soon broke out between Groudon and Kyogre, and it threatened the entire Pokemon world. Many Pokemon began to leave the island in an attempt to get as far away from the battle as possible.
5. Things are pretty lonely on the island. Plusle and Minun are just walking along when Pikachu returns from his flying trip with a basket of apples. He ties down the balloons and calls the others over to eat.
6. Koffing tells them about the legendary Rayquaza that lives far away from here. According to the legend, Rayquaza has the power to quell the fighting between Groudon and Kyogre. After hearing what Koffing said, Pikachu ties the balloons around his waist again and sets off on a mission to find Rayquaza.
7. Plusle and Minun run after Pikachu as he begins to fly away. Soon, Pikachu leaves the island completely and flies over the ocean.
8. A Gyarados suddenly rears up and attacks Pikachu with Hyper Beam. Pikachu narrowly dodges and begins charging electricity.
