This does not appear to have been asked before, so I'll fire away. Is there a site on the web where you can legally get backrounds of the in-game battles from Pokemon RSE and FRLG? BTW, do not suggest ROMs. I would be banned from my computer by my parents at the mere mention of the words "illegal copy".
Finally, if this is in the wrong area, but since I'll be doing fan art with the results, it seems appropriate.

About the only thing I can come up with right now besides a rom is searching Photobucket. You might find something, you might not.

And you don't need to register/pay, or anything? Right?

Oh, well no, lots of people use them. I found out about that page from another Psypoke user.

Second related question. How do I get attack backrounds for my graphics, e.g. Ice Beam backround?

request, I can screenshot all attacks, If you can't use roms.
and why should you pay or register to an unofficial site while the screenshots are ripped from the game ? Letting you pay could even be illigal, since all rights belong to gamefreak and pok

Basically, I did what JDesigns offered to do. I ripped off the attack animations off VBA's screen capture function through ROMs and AR move tutor codes. There is no database somewhere containing all these attacks, no one's thought of doing that yet ;P (I'll change this soon). And anyway, I don't know why you're freaking out over emulators and everything, they are perfectly legal as long as you own a copy of the game, and don't distribute them in a way that would make you more profitable.
Because I had to use these backgrounds over and over again, rather than type in cheats multiple times I saved them as .PSD files and they sit in flash drive somewhere until I decide to use them again.
I'm planning to make a template that will have all these backgrounds / attacks for this little community, but I'll have to search for them (I formatted my computer a few weeks ago and haven't gotten round to re-pasting everything back). I actually thought of doing this ages ago, but I thought that no one would be interested.
So if you really need it, just wait for a bit, and I'll get round to it soon.
((For reference, I've included background examples, which don't include effects such as razor leaf or surf))

Wow! Thanks ever so much, and good luck with your database idea! I wish that I could help...
P.S. The reason why I can't use Emulators is because my parents would probably object. Can't wait to move out!
P.P.S. Good luck against Brazil! I'll be rooting for Australia because I don't know if the Aussies have won a world cup yet!
