I had decided long ago that trying to have a reasonable conversation with Stewie was nearly as difficult as washing a bus with nothing but some toothpicks, a gluestick or two, and whatever spit you can muster. Ignoring him, however, is as easy as putting on a hat.

"Um... I don't actually sleep. Spirits such as myself don't require it, just as your food is unecessary as well", I said. "So I'll just stand guard or something. Not like there is actually any threat of being attacked."

Roy awoke from his half-sleep when Murman said 'threat of being attacked'.

"Actually...er, look out the window. See that black thing up in the sky?"

"Oh", I said, discouraged. I had been hoping for a peaceful night during which I could collect my thoughts and compose myself for the impending "daring quest". "That does not have a healthy aura." I sighed, and lowered my head. "I'll keep an eye on it."

"Okay. I'm going to bed..." He walked over and went back to half-sleep. I hope that isn't what I think it is...

Undead ignored the flying object and turned over, snoring loudly just to annoy the rest of them. "It's probably nothing," he muttered, sighing heavily, "just a bird. Or some flying machine."

My god this place is boring.. Circling around for what felt like the millionth time that hour, Lippie waved his tail, creating a momentary flash of fire in the night air. For a moment he wondered if anyone had seen him, then stopped worrying. It wasn't like anyone around here cared.

Glancing down, Lippie saw someone watching him through a window. Curiously, he flapped his long wings and started to make his way down to the window.

((It was bound to happen. One of the best RPers would join if it got interesting enough.))

Angela looked at the black thing in the sky, then saw a flash of fire-at least, only for a second.
So Dark Tyrant did send someone after us. Undead will thank me for doing this. Angela thougth, then threw a fireball at the black thing in the sky.
"That'll show Dark Tyrant who he's messing with! Murman, wake Stewart, Undead and Roy up for me, will you?" Angela asked, turning towards Murman.

((I had tried to reply TWICE yesterday, but neither went through. Stupid fires = lousy computer and internet!))

Angela-seeing a...five?- stepped back and nearly screamed when she saw what it was. She held up another fireball, but didn't throw it.
"Who-or what-are you?" she demanded, looking ready to throw it.

What the?! Roy thought as he woke up. "What's all the fuss about..." he grumbled.

"Apparently, I'm supposed to wake you", I said, just loud enough to wake a dinosaur, some dude who's hyped up on coffee, and a half-dragon thing. "We're being attacked, I think. That, or it's suddenly started raining armless little monsters in the shape of a five. I think the second one's far more frightening."

I went back outside to get a better look at this new arrival... Not that impressive.

"So whould you care to tell us why you're here?"

"Well *yawn* you've succeded. I'm awake." Roy sat up, then got out of bed, went outside, and looked at the new thing.

"And you are...what?"

"Alright alright, I'm up...relax...," Stewart said groggily. Wondering what all the commotion was, he didn't even bother to have breakfast and went outside, to find evryone else, and them another....thing.

"I'm assuming your what's causing all the commotion?"

I did my best mock voice of the new creature (whichy was quite good; being able to change your voice and appearance is great at parties) and said, "Name's Lippie. I am an official conscience from the Conscience Corp, designed especially for one Serra Larosse of Mossdeep City."

Roy stretched. "Lippie...*yawn* That's an interesting name. Mine's Roy."

"I'm Angela. Sorry for throwing that fireball at you. You kinda made me jumpy." she shrugged as she continued, "Also I'm Pyrokinetic/Psychic."
By the way, can you read minds? she thought to Lippie.

((I was just looking at one of the posts-where Angela threw the fireball at Lippie- and I might have realized a slight error that I also added to my post. Was CF meaning "dive" instead of "five"? Notice the 'd' and 'f' are close to each other!))

Undead, twitching slightly from the lack of recent action, shot up in bed. He ran out of the room and into the square, where he saw the strange looking creature. "Heathen demon-looking beast!" Undead shouted, adding a quick, "not you," for Murmanthius' sake, and then diving at the creature and tackling it's waist. "I've got you now, you evil son of Dark Tyrant! Ah keel yoo!"

"Nobody kills Undeadcutlet!" Undead said, knowing that several people were out to prove him wrong, "or at least not yet. So anyway, who are you? Why are you here? Are you Dark Tyrants enemy? What is your favourite colour?" Undead took a step forward with each question until he was leaning over Angela's shoulder, forehead butting against Lippie's chest.

Undead jumped up into the air, still trying to headbutt the strange beast. "No, I don't remember," Undead shouted, between headbutts, "but that doesn't change the fact that I asked you a question, and it's impolite not to answer. M'kay?"

"How come I never get summoned for the interesting assignments like going to a massive party? A spirits life is a dismal one..." I said with a glum face. I hadn't even attempted to figure out what Lippie had been saying; I simply wasn't feeling up to it.
