"Wow...that Sunflora is a lot tougher than I thought. Perhaps I should've given Shockbox more Protein...and this is tough, Electric attacks won't hurt Sunflora much, and I can't use Focus Punch again. I have no choice, I just have to hope it gets paralysed or a critical hit or something."

"Shockbox, use Thunderbolt, and give it all you've got!"

"YES! It worked! Thas stupid thing barely even scratched Shine!"

"Shine use Solarbeam!"

Thanks to Shine's chylorophyl, the Solarbeam is fired at such a speed that Shockbox barely has time to fire its thunderbolt. Although it is successfully fired, it is cancelled out by Shine's attack, which continues and knocks the electabuzz square in the chest.

Its total power was decreased since it had to plow through the thunderbolt but it was still a strong blow that hit Shockbox.

"Everything is going perfectly! At this rate, I'll have him beat in no time!"

"Great job Shine! Now use Hidden Power before it can strike back!"

((Don't forget I asked you to pick what kind of HIdden Power it is. JUst make sure it is one of the following types:

Fighting, Bug, Steel, Poision, Ghost, Psychic, Electric, Water, Ice, Dark or Dragon.

Wow, that Sunflora is tough! I hope to face its trainer later. But that won't happen till I finish my battle here... and that doesn't look to happen soon...

"Quickly Shockbox, use another Thunderbolt!"

"I was at a disadvantage at the start, but I should be able to get back on top later."

The fighting hidden power will get cancelled out by Shockbox's thunderbolt. Shine's taken a few hits now and unless something happens soon, in another attack or two she'll fall.

"Grrrr... I can't lose... Not in my first battle..."

"Shine use Syhnthesis to try and regain your HP! Then charge at it with full force with another Hidden Power!"

"Quick Shockbox, use another Focus Punch while that Sunflora is using Synthesis!"

"This better hit hard; I don't want it healing and having to do this all over again."

Shockbox is too slow to deliver a focus punch before the now super-fast sunflora can heal herself. The punch will take most of that restored health away and as Shine counters with a hidden power a point blank, the air molecule loose their bonds and the sunlight returns to normal.

The next orders the trainers make may just decide who wins round 1.

"Not sure what we can do now that the sunlight is gone...Better check the speed of 's are in my pokedex"

Arthur pulls out a pokedex and sees how 's and 's compare.

Electabuzz: 27th fastest species. Speed 309
Sunflora: 349 fastest species. Speed 159.

"Dammit. I guess I'll have to try another strategy." he mutterede under his breath.

"Get as close as you can to it while dodging as many attacks as possible and use Hidden Power one final time!"

Lulu went to the field with her three pokemon, Flame, Fang and Shock.

"No way kid! Now Flame! Burn that bug!!"
"FLARE!"

Lulu put on her smile that made everyone think she had a plan but really she didn't even know what move to use first.oh no this a water field! i'm such big trouble!

Ludicolo began to get bored of waiting and went for a swim, Bob looked up to see the second battle starting "What the hell is Flare, that person must be out of her mind" bob turned to the other screen "Looks like this battles almost over, it's to close to call at the moment though" Where the hell is my opponent, i have the right mind just to walk out of here. Bob looked other to his Ludicolo "Ludi are you bored to? Well i let Cloyster out to play with you. Come on out Cloyster. There you go just don't tire your selfs out to much ok."

An announcement is made over the loud speaker.

"By disqualification, Bob is the winner of his match!"

"Shockbox! Don't attack just yet! Wait for Sunflora to attack, dodge it, then use another Thunderbolt." The Electabuzz nodded at his trainer, and readied himself.

With much less speed then before, Shine charges in in an attempt to get a hidden power attack in at point blank range. She stays nimble on her toes/leaves, expecting Shockbox to attack her while she's running in. Although she's confused, she follows through with her orders and gets into the right spot to attack.

Too slow. Now the electabuzz is much faster than her and is able to deliver his point blank thunderbolt before Shine has a chance to blink.

An announcement is made as Shine falls to the ground. "Shine is unable to continue. First round goes to Mike."

The audience gives a round of applause and then falls silent and waits for Arthur to call out his next pokemon.

Mike couldn't help but leap for joy.

"Great job Shockbox!" "I thought he'd lose at first, with Electric types being at a disadvantage with Grass types, but not Sockbox; nothing phases him."

Shockbox gave Mike a thumbs up, "Buzz Buzz Electabuzz! (That battle was a piece of cake!)"

Bob heard the announcement over the speaker "Wow i won, i didn't even have to do anything......Nice" Bob looked back up at the screen "What just happened, What happened to that Sunflora? Damn i missed it. Anyway looks like i'm going to be here for a little while and i'm already bored. Well at least i can keep my pokemon amused. Come on out Everyone!" Bob threw 4 pokeballs into the air to reveal a Camerupt, A Scizor, A Xatu and a Ursaring "Ha now i can let all my pokemon out without them knowing what i have, the camera's turned off because my fights over, Right you lot why don't you go and play for a little while." With that the Xatu and Scizor flew up into the sky and started chasing each other, Ursaring and Camerupt were barging each other seeing who was the strongest and the Ludicolo and Cloyster carried on Swimming together. "Now all i have to do is relax"

"Shockbox, another Thunderbolt, aim for his legs!"[/i]

"Use an ice punch on the water to freeze the area around where you punched it! Keep doing it until there is a bridge between you and Shockbox!"

As Ali is freezing the water between them, he notices Shockbox's thunderbolt and punches one spot faster and faster. This creates a wall of ice that blocks the thunderbolt.

"YEAH! Ok, ALi just keep doin gthat until you get real close and then fire a Sky Uppercut at it!"
