There are official raters here so everybody that ask for team rates know that they will recieve GOOD advice from people that know what they're talking about...
Just for you know...
Magmortar is a great Mixed Sweeper and Cradily don't need a trapping move at all...
So when you try to give advice to someone, please search a little more ok?
And do it OUTSIDE the official rating center...

With all that said, I do agree about Magmortar being a good Mixed Sweeper. Cradily doesn't even learn a trapping move. I'm not saying it's a bad Toxic user, just it technically isn't a Toxi- Trapper.
Yes...
That's kind of true...the few ones that i see that actually works are you and Sapphirath,
but is in this kind of situation that you must to search for a solution either researching yourself so you don't need to ask others...or PM the mods/raters and ask for they to get to work...
Anyway after rethink my post i had seen i was really harsh..and for that i'm sorry...
(tpjerematic, could you forgive me, please? )
The rate wasn't all that great but at least you had a good intetion...

Behold, the mighty... Rain Dance Team!
This is for doubles btw.
 @ Leftovers
Lightning Rod / Adamant
252 Atk / 252 HP / 6 Def
Earthquake
Megahorn
Stone Edge
Swords Dance
I ran this rather than Electivire because that requires alot of switching and prediction, and quite risky.
Designed to be Gyarados' best friend, and to stay in as long as Gyarados.
 @ Damp Rock
Intimidate / Adamant
252 Atk / 252 Spd / 6 HP
Rain Dance
Dragon Dance
Waterfall
Ice Fang
This one likes to dance. :]
Dragon Dance until a threat poses or you've maxed attack and speed, then sweep.
Yes it's not the perfect setter, but it hasn't got the largest movepool anyway.
 @ Leftovers
Rain Dish / Bold
252 HP / 252 Def / 6 SpAtk
Leech Seed
Substitute
Energy Ball
Rain Dance
If Rhyperior faints, this is your next defensive superior to send in.
It'll take a long time to take away all of it's replenishing HP.
 @ Damp Rock
Swift Swim / Modest
252 SpAtk / 252 Spd / 6 HP
Rain Dance
Surf
Ice Beam
Dragon Pulse
If both Rhyperior and Gyarados have fainted switch in this and Jirachi.
Oh hey Bushin. *awkward look* It is okay if I use this and Jirachi right?
 @ Shell Bell
Serene Grace / Modest
252 SpAtk / 252 Spd / 6 HP
Calm Mind
Psychic
Flash Cannon
Thunder
On the 1st turn Jirachi and Kingdra are in, Kingdra should Rain Dance and Jirachi should Calm Mind.
Jirachi makes good use of Serene Grace with this set.
 @ Leftovers
Volt Absorb / Modest
252 SpAtk / 200 Spd / 58 HP
Thunder
Thunderwave
Shadow Ball
Light Screen
This is just to stamp on the shattered remains.
A good switch in if Gyara is near death.
What do you think?

Alright, here's my team I'm using. I'm not changing the first four Pokemon, but I'd be willing to mess around with the moves/items/etc.
 @ Leftovers
Calm – 252 HP/252 SDEF
Wish
Yawn
Surf
Ice Beam
Here we have a basic Special Tank. She can take 2-3 hits from an Alakazam and Gengar, and with Wish, my opponent will have an even thougher time doing it. Surf and Ice Beam hit everything I care about except Empoleon and Shiftry (lol), and Vapy's impressive Special stat will rock most sweepers.
 @ Lum Berry
Adamant – 252 ATK/252 HP
Dragon Dance
Earthquake
Outrage
Fire Punch
Alright, the basic plan with this guy is to survive the first hit (I'll switch out if I know my opponent is readying an Ice Beam) to get off a Dragon Dance. After that, the type coverage is perfect and there are very very few pokemon that will be able to survive or outspeed it.
 @ Choice Band
Jolly – 252 ATK/252 SPD
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Ice Fang
Pursuit
Basic Aerodactyl. I'm also considering replacing Aerial Ace with Sky Attack and Choice Band with either Focus Sash or Power Herb.
 @ Petaya Berry
Substitute
Flamethrower
Solarbeam
Sunny Day
Funny thing is, I know this is possibly the most standard Charizard build, but I made this one completely on my own. It started with a Houndoom with the same moveset and Crunch. This is probably the final version of this one. Sub until I can set up Sunny Day, so you have a STAB'd, Sunny Day'd, Blaze'd, Petaya'd Flamethrower. Holy hell, that one's going to hurt.
 @ Heat Rock
Bold - 252 DEF/252 HP
Sunny Day
Solarbeam
Morning Sun
Knock Off
For the longest time I was looking for a new pokemon for my team, until I came across this one. Beautiful physical tank with a built-in safeguard (Leaf Guard), and packing some big heat with an instant, STAB'd Solarbeam. All I need now is the item.

Perfect set! Although you could debate putting Air Slash for S-Beam, but that's all up to you.

You have 2 Pokemon on your team with Sunny Day. Decide which one should have Sunny Day, Heat Rock is fine, but you could fit in Leftovers there.

Thanks a lot Pokemaniac!
The only problem I see with only giving one of them Sunny Day is that Charizard loses a lot of power (as well as protection from Surf) without it, and Tangrowth is practically useless. Also, I'm using Heat Rock, because where I come from, we play with Stadium rules. That means no duplicate items.
I'm also thinking of replacing Knock Off with Sleep Powder just to make him even tougher to take down.

Throwing my team out again, Also I did'nt feel like making a new thread to get an opinion on the Alakazam alt. moveset.
If an non-offical rater would like to give an opinion, PM it to me ^^
Anise
Mismagius
Modest @ Wise Glasses. Levitate
52HP 200DEF 155S.ATK 103SPEED
-Skill Swap
-Pain Split
-Shadow Ball
-Hidden Power (Fighting) 55-56 Base Power
Lead, Skill swap is usually not greatly useful but can throw back a intimidate, Type absorbs or steal speed boost, then later in the game grab Serene grace Swift Swim or Sand veil (Against Weather teams). Ghost/Fight holds no resistances so she can deal decent damage to all but Normal/Flying, Skarms and S.walls.
The Chef
Alakazam
Modest @ Life Orb. Synchronize
252 S.ATK 200 SPEED 58 HP
-Psychic
-Shadow ball
-Focus Blast
-Charge Beam
Special Sweeper, Charge beam is good for finishing a near KO'ed opponents as well against on an expected switch, Although Calm mind would be better for the latter, charge beam + life orb does semi decent damage on it's common counters. Once again Ghost/Fight holds no resistances and Psychic is STAB.
A moveset I'm thinking of changing him to
Modest @ Salac berry
-Sub
-Calm mind
-Psychic
-HP fight/ Focus blast
Place him out against something that will switch out and Sub. then if the switch out is:
1)Slower
Calm mind and allow the sub to break, sweep
2)Faster
Sub until the Salac berry kicks in Calm mind then sweep
The problem with this set is that other psychics resist him, esp. Metagross. but it brings down weavile and most of the typical choice scarfers.
Caramel
Muk
Brave @ Black Sludge. Sticky Hold
255ATK 255DEF
-Curse
-Shadow Sneak
-Poison Jab
-Brick Break
Cursewall, Skill swaping in double battle w/ mismagius's Levitate can be quite helpful. Shadow sneak works great as an unexpected finishing move after cursing and attacking as well as after a cursed Shadow sneak can OHKO a Gengar/Alakazam.
Plum
Kingdra
Calm @ Scope Lens. Sniper
252 HP 200 S.ATK 52 ATK
-Ice Beam
-Dragon Pulse
-Waterfall
-Focus Energy
A somewhat bulkier Kingdra set, made to take advantage of a up to 33% 3x Crit rate. Luck is somewhat key in this set, but is rather fun to use. Waterfall for mix-sweeping.
Sage (goes in every field)
Hitmonchan
Adamant @ Muscle band. Iron fist
252ATK 200HP 56DEF
-Ice Punch
-Fire Punch/Thunder Punch
-Close Combat
-Agility
Agility then CC or Fire/Ice is they resist fight or are 2x or 4x weak.(Yes I'm aware STAB CC does the same as a 2x boosted punch, but the punches can give status and don't drop his Def's) Open to Starmie but can take down Scizor, Fortress, and the typical dragons. 30 S.def IV on top of 110 base allows him to soak a special attack or non-stab psychic. Thunder punch allows him to take out all the popular dual water threats that otherwise resist him, so I have some trouble choosing which punch to use.
Yogurt
Miltank
Serious (Chosen due to near flawless IV's) @ Thick Fat. Leftovers
252HP 204S.DEF 52ATK
-Body Slam
-T-wave
-Rock Slide
-Heal Bell/Milk Drink
Mil-Tank/Para Flinch abuser. Being normal type allows me to Switch into Ghost attacks used on my Alakazam and Mismagius. Thick fat also allow him to switch in to fire/Ice safely. I'm debating if I should go with Heal Bell for team support or Milk drink to keep him in play longer.
Thanks ^^

Jeez, so many teams in such a short time. (Sapphirath, where are you?!) I'll try to get as many done here.
Prof. Dom wrote: Behold, the mighty... Rain Dance Team!

I, too was planning to use a Rain Dance team similar to this, except not for doubles.
How does Lightning Rod work? It doesn't make him...vulnerable to electric attacks...does it? I've never used lightning rod before, so I wouldn't know. Well, that's a nifty idea there. He's super slow, and people may double attack him first, so watch out. If you can get speed boosts passed to him, or run Trick Room (TR would ruin the theme, so maybe not...) that could help remedy his speed problem. Other than that, it looks good. It's just a matter of using him well.
Idk about Gyara setting up the rain. It helps your team, but it doesn't particularly help the current situation. It'll only boost Waterfall, so in the time that you Rain Dance, you could've gotten in a Dragon Dance, maybe two by next turn. 1 DD is equivalent to a Rain boost, but to all of your moves, and you get a +1 in speed to boot. Elec attacks will be drawn toward Rhyperior, so they might think to hit Rhyperior first, so you should take that time to set up quickly. Or if they're scared of Gyara (I am), they might try to take him down as soon as possible.
As for the EV spread, go with this: 72 HP / 252 Atk / 184 Spe You won't need all that speed, especially since you have DD. No need to max it. It's like trying to get a van to outrun a race car - not likely, so this spread should do (assuming you have perfect speed IVs). Besides, the HP EVs can help cushion the blow when you try to set up the rain and DD. This spread is for really bulky Gyaras: 216 HP / 16 Atk / 176 Def / 100 Spe. Gives you a better chance at setting up. Leftovers if you're not setting up the rain.
I don't see anything wrong with this set. You could even stall with Toxic and Protect. Just ideas, but that set looks fine.
 @ Damp Rock
Swift Swim / Modest
252 SpAtk / 252 Spd / 6 HP
Rain Dance
Surf
Ice Beam
Dragon Pulse
If both Rhyperior and Gyarados have fainted switch in this and Jirachi.
Oh hey Bushin. *awkward look* It is okay if I use this and Jirachi right?
Depends on how fast you want to go, I mean, you already have Swift Swim. You can put some speed into HP for cushioning. Up to you though. HP electric>dragon pulse if you manage to get it (with max BP; 70), since those 3 elements have superb coverage. It's just hard to get the right Hidden Power. Looks good here.
 @ Shell Bell
Serene Grace / Modest
252 SpAtk / 252 Spd / 6 HP
Calm Mind
Psychic
Flash Cannon
Thunder
On the 1st turn Jirachi and Kingdra are in, Kingdra should Rain Dance and Jirachi should Calm Mind.
Jirachi makes good use of Serene Grace with this set.
Flash Cannon is a no-no. Steel types don't have great coverage. (maybe I'm just biased? XP) You fill that slot with Substitute (well, you'd have to max HP if you do so), or give it Wish, or some other move. If you could get HP Fighting, then that would help out against Dark types and Sandstreamers (I'm looking at you, Tyranitar. <.<) Again, (the correct) HP is hard to get. Thunder will be very fun.
 @ Leftovers
Volt Absorb / Modest
252 SpAtk / 200 Spd / 58 HP
Thunder
Thunderwave
Shadow Ball
Light Screen
This is just to stamp on the shattered remains.
A good switch in if Gyara is near death.
I'd say just max out speed for this one, and get a Timid one if you can. If it has HP Ice, that'd be great too. If Jolty's main purpose is to simply smash enemies and switch in on Gyara, Electivire might be better, since its ability is slightly better and it hits lots of things hard.
What do you think?
Not too shabby. Have fun playing doubles.

Pokemaniac, put your stuff in color. Makes it easier to find.
Skandrannon wrote: Alright, here's my team I'm using. I'm not changing the first four Pokemon, but I'd be willing to mess around with the moves/items/etc.

The moveset looks fine. I don't think you should simply make it a special tank. I know from personal experience that Vaporeon can work very well as a well-rounded tank. Unless you're switching into Thunderbolts (which you shouldn't), most of the attacks you should be switching into should do half damage like ice, water, or fire attacks, so it's not necessary to have SpDef EVs.
You should put the 252 Sp.Def EVs into Def and give it a Bold nature, since its Def is abysmal. With max defense and a Bold nature, it allows you to switch in on Earthquakes and other such attacks. Assuming you have perfect Sp.Atk IVs, you should take 68 EVs from HP and add them to Sp.Atk, so you hit 273 at level 100. It allows you to guarantee a OHKO against Garchomp, Infernape, etc.
Wow I use this exact same set for my Dragonite no changes here.
No chan - hold on a sec! Wouldn't it be wiser to max Spe and give it a Jolly nature? Or at least max speed? I've never seen a Dragonite like that...
 @ Choice Band
Jolly – 252 ATK/252 SPD
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Ice Fang
Pursuit
Basic Aerodactyl. I'm also considering replacing Aerial Ace with Sky Attack and Choice Band with either Focus Sash or Power Herb.
I personally would use the Sky Attack and Power Herb combo and considering Aerodactyl has great speed you can start the battle right away with a heavy hit.
Your current moveset looks fine. This guy makes a great lead, since he's so darn fast (not sure why I bothered pointing that out - you probably already know that). Don't use Aerial Ace, since your other moves are pretty good, and Ace doesn't offer much use other than slaying Heracross. I would suggest against Sky Attack and Power Herb, because even though they allow you to hit hard, that moveslot would be wasted for the rest of the battle, since the charge-up turn gives them time to fully prepare, set up rocks, etc. Or it simply gives them enough time to cripple or take down Aerodactyl all together. My take on it is type coverage/utility>Flashyness/stylish heavy hits. Hitting hard is good and with Power Herb, it may surprise opponents, but I don't think the spent moveslot and the 1-time-use item is worth it.
I recommend Stealth Rocks and/or Taunt, since he's fast enough to pull it off well. Taunt is to mess with defensive Pokemon, BPers, and statusers - people will try to paralyze you. The moveset would look something like this:
Stone Edge/ Rock Slide (if you want more accuracy)
Earthquake
Ice Fang/ Stealth Rock/ Taunt
Stealth Rock/ Taunt
Losing Ice Fang kinda hurts since you won't be able to take out Garchomp, but they won't try it, unless they know your moveset, so it's possible to not have Ice Fang and get away with it. Obviously use Life Orb or Leftovers with a set like this. If you want to stick with your Choice Bander, you can give it Fire Fang in the last slot. It's for Bronzong and steels that can't be taken down by Earthquake. Otherwise, Pursuit is a fine choice.
 @ Petaya Berry
Substitute
Flamethrower
Solarbeam
Sunny Day
Perfect set! Although you could debate putting Air Slash for S-Beam, but that's all up to you.
Actually, the most common Charizard is the Bellyzard, which is scary as hell. Your set is in fact, not that common (well, I've never faced one). Where's the spread on it? Nature? Anyway, with a set like this you'll want to max speed and special attack, with a modest or timid nature. The last 6 (6 so you hit 510 and can therefore go get an Effort Ribbon ^_^) should go into Sp.D. Looks good though.
 @ Heat Rock
Bold - 252 DEF/252 HP
Sunny Day
Solarbeam
Morning Sun
Knock Off
You have 2 Pokemon on your team with Sunny Day. Decide which one should have Sunny Day, Heat Rock is fine, but you could fit in Leftovers there.
For the longest time I was looking for a new pokemon for my team, until I came across this one. Beautiful physical tank with a built-in safeguard (Leaf Guard), and packing some big heat with an instant, STAB'd Solarbeam. All I need now is the item.
Nah, I wouldn't say Leaf Guard is worth spending 2 slots on Solarbeam and Sunny Day. You can think of it as a free bonus if Charizard dies or switches out, and the sun is still shining, but don't build a whole moveset on it. On that note, change Heat Rock to Leftovers. I just reviewed your moveset, and you could definitely do a lot more fun things with this overgrown shrub. Your current moveset is basically knock off item, solarbeam, heal. Bland, not to mention one-sided. It only has one reliable attack move, and that's only if the sun is up. It's supposed to be a tank, but it can't do anything other than attack and heal. It can't even attack and heal all too well; it needs the sun to recover and attack well.
Let it keep Knock Off, cuz that's a useful move on defensive sets. It helps scout what your enemy is (Ex: Specsmence, or CBmence?, etc.), gets rid of the item, and makes it easier to predict and mindgame them. They'll try not to lose more items, so they might switch in the one that lost theirs, when they think you would use Knock Off. Just some examples. Leech Seed is awesome. Makes you tank better. You can even pass it to another member without BPing. Sleep Powder for more disruption. You could even use Stun Spore instead. Or both (*gasp*). Power Whip is a good move for the last slot. Energy Ball, Grass Knot, and Leaf Storm are other options as well. Leaf Storm isn't so great if you plan on staying in for long periods of time, cuz of Sp.Atk drop.
Or you can try a Sub Seeder set altogether. I heard there are better sub seeders though.
Whew, that's all for now.

I think it's time for some changes around here.
To begin with, I'm going to ask FireStarter if I can start rater sign-ups again. You're right, having only one official rater around is pretty lame, and having no other means to get more is just as lame.
As for the "Only official raters may rate" rule, I think I will change this as well. I'm thinking something along the lines of unofficial raters having to post disclaimers notifying others that they aren't official raters, while official raters can post as they please.
Oh. This all may take awhile, so in the meantime, please accept this gift...
I hereby promote Volke to an official team rater.
Congratulations, keep up the good work. I know you're one of the better Battle Tower regulars, so I'm certain I made the right decision there.
I'm going to update the first page's post soon as well so it's more up to the present.

Finally, something's going to get done about this. Woot! We Psypokians made a petition-esque thread some time ago. It got turned down though, well, sorta. With the changes around here, hopefully there should be a decrease in RMT threads. That means this place is going to get a little more crowded. *braces for flooding*

Thank you very much. I feel so honored.
Sorry SuperBlastoise, everyone kinda just skipped over you.
SuperBlastoise wrote: I was making a hippowdon, which needs to be able to take a lot of damage, and deal moderate damage, however I need help over which of these to use. Also, if anything else should be changed, I'm taking helpful suggestions .
Hippowdon
Slack Off (egg move, help it last that much longer)
Earthquake (deal moderate damage)
Crunch (Basically to help with levitate and flying pokemon, you get the point)
Toxic (Not too sure about this, but hopefully it'll survive long enough for it to be helpful)
Now this is where I need help, aside from move suggestions.
Firstly, should I use Impish (+def, -sp. atk) with 6 hp EVs, and 252 sp. def and def EVs? This is for maxing out the def capabilities, although it is slightly lacking sp. def wise, which could be dangerous with mixed and special sweepers. The attack stat isn't too major on a tank.
Most of the time, when people assume about IVs, they assume about perfect IVs. Doesn't make much of a difference one way or another, since you're just assuming. Anyway, first you need to remember that Sand Stream boosts the special defense of Rock types. Hippowdon doesn't care because he's just a ground though. My point is it helps the other guys on your team. Are you making a Sandstorm team? That's where Hippowdon shines brightest. It could be used elsewhere, just the storm will hurt the other guys, and the damage racks up after a while.
As for movesets, Hippowdon excels at using Stealth Rocks, elemental fangs, Curse, Yawn, Roar, Stone Edge, and many other things, so you have a variety of things. Depends on what your team needs. Go with an Impish nature. Here's a place that does a good job of explaining defensive EV spreads. This place is good for movesets and ideas, as well as being able to see base stats and stats at level 100. They suggest there to use those Sp.Def EVs in HP. I think there's a good reason for it.
Edit: After I ran some calc I suppose a 6 HP/ 252 Def/ 252 Sp.Def could work. You want it to be well-rounded, right? Its physical walling ability will be weakened, but its special walling ability will increase. A CurseHippo set will be your best shot at a well-rounded wall, IMO at least. There should be an example of a CurseHippo with that Smogon link.
Edit 2: Mm, I'm still not sure what spread is for the best, but maximizing HP will help both Def and Sp.Def, so maybe 252 HP/ 252 Sp.Def/ 6 Def, OR 252 HP/ 252 Def/ 6 Sp.Def.

Hi. I would like to ask of some help with a decision for a Gyrados on my current team. I won't go into specifics, but I just need a water type to balance my team out. I figure the nature needed is probably either Lonely or Timid for a Special Attacker, or Adamant and Jolly for a Physical Sweeper. What would a good moveset for either of those choices look like?

i'm not an "official rater" but since you were asking a question and not asking your teams to be rated, i think i'll take this advantage to post!

Your right about the Physical Sweeping part about them being either Jolly (+Spd -Sp.Atk) or
Adamant (+Atk -Sp.Atk), though you are wrong about the Special Sweeping part... well, not really wrong but partly correct. Lonely is (+Atk -Def). You might want to consider either Timid (+Spd -Atk) for speed or
Modest (+Sp.Atk -Atk).
As for your movesets, you can check this URL for ideas on what you want your to be:

Hope that helps
Mod edit: By jove, you've just given me a great idea regarding the future of the rating thread! Mwahaha. -R_R

Quote: I Dont know what EV's are so I will Not put them.
EV's or Effort Values are points accumulated by your pokemon each time they make a pokemon faint. How should I explain this... Hmm... (i got it!)... EV's make your pokemon stronger by increasing their stats. An example would be this: if your pokemon were to kill a , that pokemon will gain 3Spd EVs. Every 4 EVs that a pokemon gain for a specific stat that stat levels-up (i.g. gives 3Spd EVs, you only need 1Spd EV to increase your pokemon's Speed stat by one when that pokemon levels-up). You also have to remember that ALL pokemon have only a maximum of 510EVs that they can get. Not only that but a pokemon CANNOT get EV's that are more than 255/stat. This means that even if you kill 100 ,which would give you 300Spd EVs, you would only have a maximum of 255Spd EVs. If you want to maximize a specific stat, you should only use up until 252Ev on that stat because it's devisible by 4.
*Sigh* this is long..... for more info refer to this thread: http://www.psypokes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=11416

Yep. I have planned an UU team. I don't know how good it is, and so I haven't started raising these pokes yet. I hope you can rate this.
Hitmontop @ Life Orb
Tehnician | Adamant
252 Hp 252 Att 4 Spd
-Fake Out
-Mach punch
-Close combat
-Stone edge
My Technitop lead. Tehnicianed Fake Out and Mach punch hurts. I usually Fake Out and Mach punch the opponent, and then switch to a apropriate counter. One incredible Pope.
Meganium @ Leftovers
Overgrow | Bold
216 Hp 148 Def 144 SpAtt
-Aromatheraphy
-Energy ball
-Leech Seed
-Reflect
My favourite pokeon in UU, after Nidoking. I was so mad when it didn't get Aromatheraphy in 3rd Genearation, while it has that huge aromathic flower. Reflect makes this almost invincible to Physical attacks. Energy ball will do some damage to things like Quagsire and Gastrodon (And because those two are light, I didn't use Grass knot). Leech Seed is for Recovery and damage.
Nidoking @ Life Orb
Poison Point | Modest
4 Hp 252 SpAtt 252 Spd
-Earth Power
-Thunderbolt
-Ice beam
-Shadow ball
Special Nidoking. Earth power hurts hard, and Rest of the moves are for Coverage. Ice beam handles Meganium, Shadow ball 2HKOs Hypno and Grumpig, Thunderbolt is for Waters of UU. Works nice, as usually people except physical Nidoking. I like this guy.
Luxray (F) @ Choice Band
Intimidate | Adamant
40 Hp 252 Att 216 Spd
-Ice fang
-Spark
-Crunch
-Return
I use Intimidate instead of Rivalry, because it gives him a lot needed protection from physical attacks. 508 Attack after Choice band is pretty good. Return hits hard anything that doen't resist it, Ice Fang covers Meganium and Altaria. Crunch hits hard any Physics. I like this as it can hurt many pokemon hard. Female is because many pokemon will be male, and in simultors pokes are set automaticly to Male.
Clefable @ Life Orb
Magic Guard | Bold
252 Hp 152 Def 104 SpAtt
-Calm mind
-Ice beam
-Thunderbolt
-Softboiled
A nice Clefable. Clefable can serve it's purpose as a special tank and sweeper. I usually Calm mind, and then Boltbeam any enemies. Softboiled is a nice instant recovery move. Can survive some attacks too.
Lapras @ Lefties
Water Absorb | Modest
252 Hp 252 Def 4 Spd
-Ice beam
-Thunderbolt
-Rest
-Sleep talk
Not much to say. Standard Stalker with Boltbeam. Bulky so that he can tank many pokemon well. My secondary tank.
I like how this team can still hold it's pokes against many tougher threats, which öleads me to...
...Threat list
Absol: Meganium can Reflect and Leech seed it. Hitmontop can come in to Night Slash or Sucker punch, and Mach punch / CC him.
Aggron: Nidoking can Earth Power him for OHKO.
Altaria: Nidoking can Ice beam it, and so can Lapras.
Ampharos: Nidoking can Earthpower, Luxray can Return.
Arbok: Nidoking can Earth power.
Ariados: Can't do anything to my team, and Hitmontop can OHKO Stone edge.
Armaldo: Hitmontop can Stone edge.
Banette: Luxray can OHKO with Crunch
Bastiodon: Earth Power from Nidoking, and CC from Hitmontop.
Beautifly: Stone edge and Ice beam.
Beedrill: Same thing
Bellosom: Ice beam.
Bibarel: Thunderbolt, Energy bal, Mach punch and CC all handle it.
Blastoise: Energy ball and Thunderbolt.
Butterfree: Look Beedrill.
Cacturne: Hitmontop can Close combat + IB.
Camerupt: Earth power.
Carnivine: Ice beam.
Castform: Mach punch and CC.
Chatot: Ice beam and T-Bolt.
Cherrim: Look Carnivine.
Chimecho: Shadow ball from Nido.
Clamperl: Thunderbolt and Energy ball.
Claydol: Ice beam and Shadow ball.
Clefable: Mach punch + Close combat.
Cloyster: Mach punch Stone edge and Close combat + Thunderbolt and Energy ball.
Corsola: Earth Power.
Cradily: Ice beam, Close combat and Fake out will handle it.
Crawdaunt: T-Bolt and Energy ball.
Delcatty: Mach punch and close combat.
Side note: Any pokemon which has pretty much same typings or abilities with these Pokemon, will now be ignored.
Delibird: Stone edge.
Ditto: Hitmontop will CC, or I can transform it to Lapras and Then Stone edge.
Here it is. I want good rate, and rating with numbers (1-10).

Koipen: Your team looks good. I don't have any experience in UU, but just looking at your team, I can't find anything wrong with it. You have both defense and offense, good type coverage, you know your threats, and you know how to counter them. If you pilot this in OU, then you may have some problems, but for UU, it looks acceptable. If Hitmontop can learn Sucker Punch, that'd be XD. 3 turns of pissing your foe off. The problem would be surviving 2 attacks, but that's besides the point. The only advice I can give you is perhaps a spiker or stealth rock set-upper, or a spinner (Toxic Spikes will give you NO trouble with Nidoking), but these are just suggestions. I'm not too fond of giving numbers, but I'd give your team a 10/10. I can't mark you down if I can't find a fault.

I think I don't need spinner, because Two of my pokes resist Stealth rock, one is immune, and that one what is weak, has Rest. Spikes I have one which is immune, but for Lapras dual spikes may hurt... Still, I could switch Stone edge or CC from Hitmontop to Rapid spin.

I'm not a Official Rater but...
I agree that your team don't really need a Spinner...
With Nidoking to absorb the Toxic Spikes and many pokémon resisting the Stealth Rock...
And hardly your opponents will have a chance to put more than 1 or 2 layers of spikes...
I'm not that experient on UU,but i don't think you have any problems with this team...

Yeah, I didn't think you'd need them. It was just an idea if you hadn't already considered it. Looks like you're good to go. Now for the hard/ time consuming part: IV breeding and EV training.
