My main critera was to not repeat any moves and to cover all my weaknesses. I'm planning on leveling up all to at least 56 b4 hitting elite 4, I'm about to face Blaine with the above team. The team member I need the most work with is Snorlax. Can't figure out a good move set for him. Anyone have any ideas?

56 is when dragonair learns Outrage. Then I let him evolve. Now he's my backup incase all the rest of my team feints, which hasn't even come close to happening yet. Why should I copy and paste? Isn't this the correct rating place?

So I was all set to take on the Elite 4, got all my team up to lvl 57, when my VBA crashed and took me back to lvl 35ish for all of them. FML. Anyways, this is the team I had before it died on me. Let me know what you think. I made some revisions from last time (move sets for the ones that needed it). I usually went with more accurate moves instead of the more powerful ones.

Please let me know how I can improve (if at all) incase I decide to try beating it again. I doubt it since my VBA was stuck on 650% normal game speed. It sucks going through doors. lol.

I know there is probably a lot wrong with my team but I don't know as much as I thought I did.

While I may not be an EXPERT, I noticed that 2 of your team members have electric attacks, and all 3 have fire attacks. Maybe you should consider teaching moves of different types more or having support moves? Just a thought.

I know they do but it hasn't been much of a problem, my biggest problem is lunatone.

what type is hidden power??

It doesn't have a pre-set type. Its type and power depend on your Pokémon... and something else, I think.

i do know that, i was asking if they alredy knew, and if they didn't could they go check

just for the record, i don't like hidden power because of its hard to get highest base power(and then it is only 70) when u kan get a better move with more base power

No one can find out your IVs from your lv100 stats without knowing your EVs. Use the process of elimination by using HP on different typed enemies to determine your HP type.



Your team is all offensive - you need tanks as well as sweepers.

I can put a Magikarp on my OU team. Very unexpected, but that doesn't make it hard to beat.

To post suggestions when you know the suggestions are poor is to deliberately mislead those asking for advice. If you want people to disregard your comments, why post at all?


Moveset guides or Smogon give the best movesets for individual pokemon. That is not the same as the best movesets or composition for teams. You can have an awful team with all Smogon movesets because the pokemon don't work well together. You can also have a good team with non-standard movesets. But, you should expect criticism when posting movesets that deviate significantly from the standard. If you can defend a non-standard moveset's effectiveness from criticism, great. If your reasons to use a moveset are "the moveset is unpredictable" or "people don't want standard movesets," then it should be made clear that said moveset needs work.

If you don't like my team rating and want to criticize it, be specific. Complaining that movesets are standard does not imply that they are bad.

i won't say what i mean by my post(because i can't find the words, and when i do they will be in aussie slang(i live there(which is here for me))like when i said don't listen to me, that is an assie slang thing that i use as a positive. i always say that i suck at everything, but today i found out that i know something that the guy in my class(who, insted of a game, took the periodic table of elements on holidays, for something to do)dosen't.
also, i don't like this post(or the other one that we are having an agument on) are going. i mean that they are not fun topics to read, and fun is awesome(like my avatar, thanx rex09). people want fun, like they want pie(and me chocolate). so ditch the arguments and have fun.
also(again) my team changed(it will do this alot(like the zoroarks in werewolf XI- zoroark edition), so don't do anything about it coz that team is inactive for me(it can be a secondary, but don't worry)

In general, I would say the first one is better, because it focuses on special sweeping, while the second moveset splits between physical and special moves.

I do have a Crobat (lv. 61) and a Swellow lv.83; should I raise either of them and replace one of those 3? Crobat is very evenly balanced on stats, knows Sludge bomb, Wing attack(can't find A. Ace), Giga drain, and Bite.
Swellow's speed is in the 250's but attack is only about 180, knows Return, A. Ace (level up), Steel Wing and endeavor.
