Ok, so I was using a Cacturne in the BT and I thought of something...

Seeing as Cacturne's special ability is sand veil, I thought that if you used it in combo with, say, a Hippowdon with a sand stream ability it would work well.

Movesets:

Cacturne:Modest
@Bright Powder
252 Special ATK, 252 SPD, 6 HP
Energy Ball
Dark Pulse
Double Team
Leech Seed/Growth

Hippowdon:Adamant
@Leftovers
252 ATK, 126 DEF, 126 Special DEF
EQ
Slack Off
Yawn
Rock Slide

Ok, so you send them both out, and sand storm starts up. From there, Hippowdon uses yawn and Cacturne uses double team once or twice. Then, sweep.

Just an idea, what do you think?

Could also use Tyranitar for Sandstorm.
And I'd use Garchomp over Cacturne, but that's because I hate Cacturne.

The reason I chose Cacturne over Garchomp is because Hippowdon is a ground type and since Cacturne is Dark/Grass you be able to cover a lot more types.

EDIT: 100th Post

Thats not a bad idea at all, though I have never seen either a Hiipowdon or Cacturne sweep it would be interesting trying to hit the darn thing and not fall asleep lol.

For sweeping i had this idea for dubs.

{ninjask} @ Leichi Berry ( 2 Ninjasks to start with )
Jolly | Speed Boost - No real thought into Nature just an idea

Baton Pass
Substitute
Swords Dance
Harden

The idea here is to use your overwhelming speed on a first turn Sub, then hopefully the sub will survive turn one so that you can use a atk or Def booster. With your ability you keep getting spd up. With your moveset you get atk up. And after 3 subs your berry kicks in giving it 1.5x atk. This is where you Baton Pass to:

{gyarados} @ Leftovers
Adamant | Intimidate

Earth Quake
Aqua Tail
Dragon Dance
Ice Fang

Move Types Covered - Ground, Ice, Water

{electivire} @ Life Orb
Adamant | Motor Drive

Earth Quake
Fire Punch
Thunder Punvh
Brick Break

Move Types Covered - Ground, Fire, Electric, and Fighting plus boosted atk from Life Orb

And of course you can go mixed with a phys sweeper and a spc seeper

{porygon-z} @ Life Orb
Modest | Adaptability

Tri-Attack
Ice Beam
Thunderbolt
Recover

These examples of sweepers are only pokes I currently have on my team and am using them as a reference which is why movesets are not really completed around the strat, I just used them because I am to lazy to make new movesets just to use as an example, this combo will obviously work with any sweeper. This strat is a double team sweeping machine. Even if they did manage to get these 2 guys down they WILL be hurting and it should be easy cleanup. I LOVE this strat, let me know what you think.

Well, I used it in the BT today and it worked quite well. I would use double team twice and Cacturne was completely un-hit-able. And Hippowdon took quite a lot of hits. Didn't faint once either.

Would you use these two in double-battles only or are you also using them for singles? :? I'm not going to say anything if you answer, I'm just wanting to know. I'm weird like that. :)
