 @ salac berry/liechi berry
Jolly/Adamant | 6 Hp, 252 Atk, 252 Spd
-Thunder Punch
-Endure
-Reversal
-Brick Break
if you want your raichu to last more than one turn, consider using thunder punch over volt tackle. sure, volt tackle has tons of power, but after 2 volt tackles, you're left with 1/3 of your HP, not taking into account the damage your opponent has dealt to you. liechi berry with jolly, and salac with adamant

While the set above is very good, it needs to be wary of the many things that wholly screw it up; Sandstorm and Hail. If you're foolish enough to use Raichu in OU instead of Electivire, Hippowdon and TTar are going to waste you. Equally, there are a lot of Hail abusers in UU, so Abomasnow will equally screw you up (and resists your STAB move.)
Perhaps you should consider either an annoyer set (centered around moves such as Attract / Sweet Kiss / Thunder Wave) or a Special set (Grass Knot would be a must on here to take care of the ground type switch ins.)
Oddly enough, I beleive that Light Ball Pikachu outclasses any form of Raichu. Considering that it now has access to Surf, that makes pretty decent coverage, Grass Knot / Surf / Thunderbolt. However, you get totally walled by anything grass typed.
As I said, if you want a powerful Electric type Physical Sweeper, go with Electivire. Lack luster speed, but then Motor Drive makes up for that, allowing it a valuable Electric resistance.

One Type Movesets are never really good, variety is always good. Also, have you considered using Pikachu instead of Raichu, because really if Pikachu is equiped with a Light Ball in DPP, then both its attack types are doubled. You should use this Moveset, though Pikachu wouldn't be as fast as Raichu unless you could somehow afford to squish Agility into the set somehow.
