Welcome to the forums.

Let's see...
This team is all over the place. Most rules don't allow Dialga and Deoxys.
Snorlax should use physical attacks, not special. Give it Crunch instead of Psychic.
Gastrodon? Eeew.
Porygon-Z looks good, except you want Adaptability to make Tri Attack stronger
Torkoal isn't too bad. See how you like this set:

Torkoal
White Smoke
Modest
Sunny day
Lava Plume
Solarbeam
Earth Power/Amnesia
I'd go for Lava Plume over Flamethrower because you're using Sunny Day and the chance to burn is higher. A burned enemy isn't going to do much to Torkoal considering his high defense. Earth Power has better coverage than Sludge Bomb, but it's a Platinum tutored move. Torkoal learns more physical attacks. Maybe somebody else could make one up.

Sorry if I'm not much help... I feel lazy today.

I guess I should have mentioned. This is just for a small competition between me and my friends. We're allowing legendaries if people want them. I will definitely think over the suggestions you made, though. Thanks for the ideas!

Hey I have been using a Torkoal for awhile now in battling and this is probably his most effective moveset.

Lava Plume
Stealth Rock
Rapid Spin/ Explosion
Protect/ Yawn

depends on what you are looking for...I like Protect because with lefties it will let you take some more hit also scout, but yawn is great for causing switches for Rock damage. Rapid Spin is good for clearing any hazards to your team if you need it, but explosion is usually better

Would a good replacement for my previously described Gastrodon be this:

Swampert - Roar, Stealth Rock, Toxic/Dig, Waterfall
Jolly or Adamant
Ability - Torrent

(We are doing single and double battles so I don't want to use Surf. Same with Dig instead of Earthquake.)

Please give opinions on Swampert v Gastrodon. Or if there's a better option I'd like to hear them. I would prefer its replacement to at least have a Ground type move. Thanks for suggestions guys!

Swampert is nice.
Dig is not.

1. I suggest a bulky nature, one that takes speed. Quiet nature would be best, since most grass moves are special (other than razor leaf and leaf blade)
2. Take away speed, cause roar doesn't need it.
3. Dig is icky, and just begging for an earthquake. So beat em to it. Use EQ.

4. (OPTIONAL) This is begging for a spiking Skarmory. with whirlwind. Paired with swampy, such a skarm could allow EQs, whirlwind, and toxic. insano.

Earthquake can counter electrics, and if you can get drill peck on a skarmory, that takes out grass types.

But that's just my idea. If skarm gets dominated by a thunder/bolt, earthquake finishes off the electric type. (stealth rock and spiks and toxic if you get it in do A LOT of damage.)

Just watch out for Zapdos. :P

PS this strategy may have some major flaws and is not guaranteed to work.
