So this time they are holding the regionals 6 months before nationals which will be held in April 2012.

The Rules:
All matches are played in Doubles format
Pokemon above Level 50 will be brought down to 50 for the match while those below 50 will stay as-is
Players choose 4 of their 6 registered Pokemon after team preview
Species Clause and Items Clause are in effect
Pokemon ineligible for Battle Subway are banned
Dark Void and Sky Drop are banned
Use of external devices will get you DQ.

I plan on attending the one in providence RI. I urge anyone who can attend to go even if your not all that good they have awesome freebies for anyone who signs up. Plus its a great time to hang out with fellow Pokéfans.

I'd actually like to do this one, since there's no silly rules this time. But the nearest one is about 5 hours away, which is 4:59 farther than my wife will let me travel to go to one

God, I heard a rumor that one would be in Philly, which I'd be able to go to. Unfortunately, I'll never be able to go to any of the other ones. I was really looking forward to competing in my first actual tournament. This sucks.

Wait, it's not on the Queen Mary this year?
Now I have to find out where the Long Beach convention center is...

I'll be heading to the Lake Buena Vista center if anyone else can make it.
