So this time they are holding the regionals 6 months before nationals which will be held in April 2012. So November 12th 2011 regionals will be held in the following locations: Long Beach Convention Center Long Beach California US 13 Nov, 2011 8:00AM Royal Plaza Lake Buena Vista Florida US 13 Nov, 2011 9:00AM Allen County War Memorial Coliseum Fort Wayne Indiana US 13 Nov, 2011 9:30AM Yeti Gaming Crestwood Missouri US 13 Nov, 2011 8:30AM Oregon State Fair and Expo Center Salem Oregon US 13 Nov, 2011 8:00AM Rhode Island Convention Center Providence Rhode Island US 13 Nov, 2011 9:00AM The Farm Bureau Center at the Meadow Event Park Doswell Virginia US 13 Nov, 2011 8:00AM The Rules: All matches are played in Doubles format Pokemon above Level 50 will be brought down to 50 for the match while those below 50 will stay as-is Players choose 4 of their 6 registered Pokemon after team preview Species Clause and Items Clause are in effect Pokemon ineligible for Battle Subway are banned Dark Void and Sky Drop are banned Use of external devices will get you DQ. Full list of rules on Smogon Rules at Official site I plan on attending the one in providence RI. I urge anyone who can attend to go even if your not all that good they have awesome freebies for anyone who signs up. Plus its a great time to hang out with fellow Pokéfans. |

God, I heard a rumor that one would be in Philly, which I'd be able to go to. Unfortunately, I'll never be able to go to any of the other ones. I was really looking forward to competing in my first actual tournament. This sucks.
