I can't be the first one to tell you that Shedinja is kind of a joke. If you're playing for keeps, your opponent is gonna have SOMETHING that can make it gone. Only about one-third of all my battle-ready Pokémon don't. Sounds like a lot, but in a six-on-six or even a three-on-three, it's got no chance. If you're up against somebody who uses ANY entry-hazards at all, or uses Sandstorm or Hail, you've got five against six; Shedinja will faint as soon as it's sent out (and Focus Sash doesn't protect from any of those things, or poison, burns, or Leech Seed). I don't mean to be a downer about it. Shedinja's just a gamble that usually won't reap rewards. Usually. It's said to be a good wrench in the plans of a Rain team... though in Gen 5, Hurricane (a flying move) will never miss in the rain, like Thunder. The other picks are pretty good though. |
