BP Team Staple.

This annoying little buggie makes some newbs quite angry.

Pros:
+ GREAT SPEED
+ Speed Boost Trait
+ Baton Pass champion, hands down.
+ Decent Attack Score
+ Immune to EQ and can take some fighting attacks due to 4x resist.

Cons:
- Low Defenses and HP
- Narrow Movepool
- Easy to Counter/Predict
- Weak to BoltBeam and Rock Slide/Blast

Base Stats
HP - 61
Atk - 90
Def - 45
Spd - 160
Sp.Atk - 50
Sp.Def - 50

Well, as you can see it is extremely frail. Base 90 Atk isn't that bad at all and that speed is sickeningly awesome.

BPjask@Leftovers / Leichi / Starf Berry
Adamant: 252 Atk, 160 Spd, 98 Hp
HP:Flying / HP: Bug / Silver Wind / Protect
Baton Pass
Substitute
Swords Dance

The set that this pokemon is most famous for. It is great when you can set it up and even better when you switch into a pokemon that resists the attack used to break the sub. This set even sees play in Ubers.

Roar, Whirlwind, and Haze can really mess this pokmon up. Rock Blast and CB Extremespeed can really hammer this pokemon. It can't switch into anything 'cept a non-stab, low attack focus punch or earthquake.

CBJask@Choice Band
Adamant: 252 Atk, 252 Spd, 6 Hp
HP:Rock
Aerial Ace
Silver Wind
Shadow Ball

Catches people off guard and can deal some near fatal damage. Couple with Spikes and Magneton and you have a pretty effective CB Pokemon. HP Rock deals great damage to Aerodactyl and can KO the opponent's Ninjask if the need arrives.

Any physical sponge walls this pokemon hard. Once you figure out this isn't a BP pokemon, it isn't hard to counter.

SubJask@Leftovers
Adamant: 252 Atk, 160 Spd, 98 Hp
Substitute
Swords Dance
HP [Flying / Bug / Rock / Fight]
Silver Wind / Shadow Ball

To combo this with Magneton would be a great idea. It can outspeed all pokemon and attack with a lot of force if you can dance and their physical sponge is out of commission.

Phyiscal Sponges own this little guy. If you can't KO that Rhydon with an attack before Rock Blast is fired then kiss this guy good bye.

General Counters:
Hazers, pHazers, Physical Sponges, Rock Blast, CB Deoxys-F, CB Rayquaza, Tyranitar

Ninjask just isn't that good. Every good team has some form of Hazing which renders him completely useless. Hell, just about any pokemon could own this thing, it's so frail.

Ninjask is just one of those things every team needs to have a counter for, sad but true. Facing down a strong beatstick with a jask-pass is just a nightmare. But, as has been said, Roar, Whirlwind, Haze, Rock Blast, and sometimes Extremespeed all stop it dead.

I actually use parish song on it. Even if it uses BP, the Perish Song count gets transfered to the other pokemon.

that's just another form of hazing...

You are only making cases for the BPJask however.

SubJask and CBJask are two off-beat sets that a simple Roar/Whirlwind/Haze won't completely counter.

306 Atk with an Adamant Nature isn't that bad. STAB with Fly and Bug attacks, not to mention Shadow Ball and a possible HP Rock or Fighting make it very useful. This thing can counter Ttar. o_O

But it's better because, it's lethal.
