: I was inspired. Pros: + Rather Bulky in UU + Stats are decent in all areas + Rather nice movepool Cons: - Low Speed - No Physical STAB - Outclassed by Ursaring OK, this bugger is very cool to look at. In battle however, it needs a little bit a work to get a good pattern down. Feraligatr (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Torrent EVs: 100 HP / 252 Atk / 56 Def / 100 SDef Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Swords Dance - Rock Slide - Hydro Pump - Earthquake Ok, This is the Sword Dance kid. Speed doesn't matter so it likes to have some endurance. Hydro Pump is to damage the physical walls. Feraligatr (M) @ Choice Band Trait: Torrent EVs: 36 HP / 252 Atk / 108 Def / 112 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Earthquake - Focus Punch - Rock Slide - Hidden Power [Flying] Ok, so, CB Fera. Hydro Pump + Lonely/Naughty can be > HP Fly. 220 Speed makes it rather quick and can surprise people. This thing can rock people's teams for a little while. Feraligatr (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Torrent EVs: 164 HP / 240 Atk / 104 SAtk Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd) - Focus Punch - Substitute - Hydro Pump - Rock Slide Switch in, Sub up, Dish Out. Rock Slide and Hydro Pump are for those physical walls, ghosts, flyers, psychic types, ect. ----- Some other options could be Roar OR this: Feraligatr (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Torrent EVs: 100 HP / 44 Def / 252 SAtk / 112 SDef Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd) - Ice Beam - Surf / Hydro Pump - Focus Punch - Crunch / Substitute This thing can scare some people. But only for a little while. |

I guess this is good. I don't use Feraligater and I don't know enough people who do to judge. My only question is, in CBFera, why not give it the standard physical sweeper's EVs (252 Att, 252 Spd, 6 Hp)? |

My only question is, in CBFera, why not give it the standard physical sweeper's EVs (252 Att, 252 Spd, 6 Hp)? same reason you don't with metagross. It isn't going to outspeed many of its weaknesses(electric types mainly) so why give it speed. It is rather bulk for UU so some defense and HP will do better in the long run than speed. |

Sorry bout the bump Feraligatr is truely a great pokemon to look at. He may not survive all to well against a thunderbolt but he does well. i found that with his defense and attack is can be used to fool opponents Usually a Swords dancer tends to have low defenses but Feraligatr is a different story. With its great Defense and Attack it can be a great sweeper but i found that salac is a great combo with it even without endure. For the Defense Catious Feraligatr @ Salac Evs: 216 atk | 144 def| 116 spd | 32 spcl def Torrent Careful (+Spcl def - Spcl atk -saving on Evs) -HP phys/Endure -Earthquake -Rock Slide -Swords Dance Swords Dance whenever possible the worst that can happen is being paralyzed so avoid that at all costs. best to attack right after the first SD to get a good blow in. surviving most T-bolts is no hassle but it you feel you need more def cut some out of attack of defense to bring up spcl def. Endure is a choice but i dont recommend it. for those who like to risk it Feraligatr @ Salac Evs: 8 HP| 240 atk| 144 def| 116 spd Impish (+Def - spcl atk -once again to save EV's) -HP phys/Brick Break -Earthquake -Rock Slide -Swords Dance There not much of a difference between the sets this one is more based on planning ahead then defenses it becomes a brick wall to even CB Tauros so its a pretty good tank sadly its wide open for spcl attacks so watch youself. Just sets i came up with. they work pretty well on NB |
