that should help with meanings... STAB = Same Type Attack Bonus Metagame = literally "a game outside the game," is a prediction of how others will make decisions in a game based on their personality or their previous decisions. A metagame can exist in any game in which the opposition is human or portrays some sort of artificial intelligence and the competitors make choices. Metagaming is taking advantage of the metagame for purposes of winning more often.(taken from Wikipedia) UU = Underused CB = Choice Band OU = Overused _________________  |

Here's a simpler definition of "Metagame". The Metagame refers to choices, stratagies, and tactics that are popular and often used at the time. For example, when you talk about how often you see Blissey (and how they drive you up the wall), you are talking about the Metagame.

And before someone brings it up, ubers are immensly strong pokemon that are hard to win against. Most of the legendaries are ubers.
