They have two threads about Sylveon on PB, and both quickly degraded into flame wars imo. And it's like a pot was kicked, because the main announcement thread gained one new page every 10 minutes! Everyone is hoping, and feelings are getting hurt because of assumptions. If you think this is bad, wait until this summer. The first trailer of Super Smash Bros 4 will be released and like a flood we'll have so many debates and theories about any aspect of the game imaginable lol but yeah I think we're taking this a bit too far as to what type Sylveon will be, but in all fairness there wouldn't be this much anxiety over the subject if it was any Pokemon other than a legendary, starter, or Eeveelution.

I think there's already been a few on this website. I would try to go back on topic, but I think we're starting to settle for Sylveon being a Flying type. Either that or we're done with arguing

The mini-trailer showed Sylveon shining and shooting stars, so it might be, it might not be. Who knows?

I believe the attack for using stars to damage your opponent is called Swift, which is a Normal type move, not a Fairy type move. I really hope we don't add any more types. Especially if the type is an obvious rip off from Yugioh (which could be a lot of new type ideas, especially considering how long Yugioh's been around at this point).

I think it's normal and will have heaps of contest styled moves or maybe even an ability that boosts its performance in contest/musicals etc. That'd be cool.
But I want more eevelutions- a ground one would be good, and a steel type maybe, Dragon would be cool, or flying, they could be like two different Pegasus-looking creatures. So much speculation!
