Cal, it should be very easy to get an adamant bagon, i've done it a million of times. Ok go to the desert pass, get your self an adamant ditto and let it hold an everstone. Breed the ditto with any bagon, then you'll have a 20% chance in getting an egg. After achieving multiple eggs, go hatch them and at least half of them will be adamants. Now I think I took my breeding skills up another level because not only did I got all my Pokemon deserible natures, I also got the perfect dv's for each and every one of them to reach their highest peak of power.

Ah, yes, Goldenquagsire, you're right. Must've misread the paragraph. Sorries. I'll go back and edit my post.

Well I took treecko because it's dragon traited, but in stat wise they both equal out each other, but the better stats has to go Mudkip. Treecko is still the best though imo, mudkip will have x4 weakness to grass, just something to think about.

How does this pertain to Emerald only? Whatever...
In my opinion, Sceptile is much better because it has a good sweeping set (Dragon Claw, Leaf Blade, Thunderpund, HP Ice) and awesome Sp. Attack and Speed. I'd go with Treecko.
Swampert's moveset does deserve a mention, however. With {Surf, Ice Beam, Earthquake, Brick Break} it is pretty versatile as well. However, my vote still stands with Treecko.

I'm tryign to train some sponges/walls for a new team I'm making, but most of the pokemon suggested that I've seen around the site, are ones I hate. So my question is: What number (stat-wise(defense/special defense-wise)) would be good for Spec. Sponge or Phys. Sponge?

I'd suggest anything Golem and up for Phys. Sponge, as at 130 base defense, you probably aren't going to OHKO it with a physical move. Same for special, I'd suppose..
For Physical Sponges, I'd suggest:
Steelix
Regirock
Magcargo (for UU only)
Skarmory
Aggron
Cloyster
and maybe Groudon for Uber battles
Special Sponges would be:
Blissey
Regice
Ho-oh
Latias
Umbreon
Mantine
Milotic
and maybe Kyogre for Uber battles
Ones that can go both ways are Shuckle, Registeel, Duclops and Deoxys LG.

I've got an E-reader, Emerald version, a link cable, and my SP and GBP (Game Boy Player). I've also got the Pokemon cards with the dot codes on the sides. How do I get the Pokemon in Altering Cave to change?

I know this question may be sillier, but does
Quiet Nature fits Treecko?
This nature increase special attack by 10% each lv up, decrease speed by 10% each lv up...
This pokemon will also attack with damage in the Pokemon Battle Tents and Pokemon Battle Frontier...

Modest would be the best. Quiet nature won't as good as modest for a Sceptile.

I know what that is and I've seen it a couple of times, I'm just looking for a good number to start at so I can find my own. I'm not really that sure what a good number to start at would be though? Maybe 319 or 299, that's why I'm posting here.

If you want sponges, they should be able to get above 300 on both Hp and which ever kind of defense you want and have a way to heal themselves (rest is ok but wish, moonlight, morning sun, synthesis, softboiled, and especially recover are better).

Modest would be the best. Quiet nature won't as good as modest for a Sceptile.
There is a battle frontier where you pokemon will attack according to its own nature.... and there is a battle tent with same function.
Well, I had a modest grovyle before, I gave it leaf blade, pursuit and some other two attacls with MODEST nature. guess what? My Grovyle doesn't attack according to his nature and attacks...
All I tried to do is to match Skeptile's attack and his nature and the changes that the nature will bring...
How about Quirky?

You're reffering to the Battle Palace. We are reffering to the stats.
Anyway if you want the Battle Palace full attack, I'd suggest Docile, Hardy, Hasty, Naive, Quiet, and Quirky natures.

I'm pretty sure you can only fight him once, I wish you could rematch him though.
