Mamoswine isn't a Johto Pokemon.

Um...so? have you read the thread? He's definitely NOT the first to post a non-Johto Pokemon. Your post also has Charizard in it, and sorry to say, but he's not a Johto Pokemon either.

I haven't played Pokemon properly in years, but if I do go through with my intentions and get HG or SS, i'd get those Pokemon, probably...

I always have a hard time choosing between & but I think I'll go with totodile. I just really like all the others cause they're pretty BA imo.

where in my original gold version and they did pretty decent in game and against other people. I dont really like using legends i like to own people with legends with normal pokemon because even though the legends are ''super'' alot of normal pokemon have a lot better move pools and ect.

I know this is kind of off topic and I apologize but you bring up a good point, do you guys think pokemon in the remakes will evolve if they've recently received new evolutions? And what about some of the Kanto pokemon that will have to be in the game because of the lack of Gen II pokemon?

Um, the new evolutions like Weavile, Mismagius, etc, will definitely be IN the game, the question is how soon you'll be able to obtain the items they need to evolve. I hope it isn't too far into the game, I want my Mismagius pwning the E4.

Plus depending on when you'll be able to trade with DPP, you could have them pretty quickly. I'm betting they wait until after the E4 for that though, just like they did with FRLG.

When I could, I'd probably swap out one of them for the legendary, whichever one I get. Probably Ho-oh, since I can get Lugia from XD.

Typhlosion is my favourite just because his name and appearance is really good. Usually hoever my teams in the second gen involve some first gen pokemon like Sandslash which would replace Ariados and Kingler which would replace piloswine.

Here's what I plan to use for the main storyline. I used the exact same thing back in Crystal and it worked pretty well.
