on my silver I callled myself Black. (i dunno why, I think it was the first thing that came to my mind.)

I always just called myself Ryan.

For Silver, I used one of the defaults, KAMON, because I thought it sounded cool. For Crystal, my first time, I think I used my real name, Jared, but I am replaying it right now, and this time I am using the name "Konato" which is a name I made up.

When I had Silver I called my self Taylor, and now that I think about I HAVE NO IDEA WHY SINCE THAT IS'NT EVEN MY REAL NAME
I guess because I thought that is what the charecter was named. Who knows

Considering the fact that I suck at naming things mine were Golderi, Gold, Green & Crystal.
Gold was because of the Gold Version. Crystal was because of the Crystal Version. Golderi was due to trainers I made up to be each other's rivals. Green was a substitute for my actual name which was nowhere near Green(oh, not my username that's my internet name).

Archie. Rival was Maxie.

RSE and Team Aqua/Magma came after GSC.

A friend of mine gave me Silver after I got Emerald and Ruby.

Picked my name Ben. I'm so lame xD

I'm one of those people who refuse to name him anything else.

lol, i always named my characters Ryder, sky angel ( usual screen names) jason or alicia, usually i would make the first character male, second female, third male. so:
silver: male
gold: female
crystal: male
i just wanted to see the whole plot from the POV of both genders, lol, dont judge me.

so your male character in Gold had a female name...or?...

I had Pokemon Silver and i named him Silver go figure.

and it stuck lol

Well.....when I first got Silver.....I have no idea what I named him, and I also made the mistake of letting my sister name my rival, so he ended up as "loserw" (SIC) -_- Anyways, when I got Crystal, for no apparent reason, I went by Allan (not my name) and named my rival Randy (I know nobody named Randy). Just....don't ask, I'm just happy that every time I started a new game, the odd egg gave me a tyrogue.

Up until Diamond, I typically named myself after... myself, so DOUGLAS.
