Not to sound like a know-it-all, but FAQ is frequently asked questions, not favorite asked questions, but anyway great idea, this should reduce the number of redundent threads asking the same thing over and over and over and over....Peace Out!

What do you mean you can't get hidden power on FR/LG? I'm sorry, but that's the craziest thing I've ever heard. Just catch a meoth and battle. It doesn't say anywhere on the site that you can't get hidden power in FR/LG.

Just don't go out looking for shinies. Let them come to you, and put them someplace safe when you do catch them.

You can't trade between RBY and FR/LG, they belong to different sets of Pokemon games.
RBY and GSC form the first set, while RSE and FR/LG forms another set altogether. You can only trade between games in a set. Sounds more simple this way?

umm... dont mean to sound like a downer or anything, but in the part about shiny pokemon and wild legends (like suicune). A shiny pokemon doesnt run from battle. Or is this different for legendaries?
Are they THAT legendary?
and on another note.... are we allowed to ask questions in this FAQ or should i find somewhere else?

Wild Legends like Suicune do run from battle, whether they are shiny or not.
Only ask questions in here if it is regarding a question covered in this topic. Everything else shouldn't be asked here I guess.

So I take it you can't trade GSC to FRLG, huh? Also, can you battle with different generations? For example: Say I want to battle my friend and she wants to battle with RSE, and I want to battle with GSC, is it possible?

Nope. RBYGSC and the Stadiums are incompatible with RSEFRLGC. (C is Colosseum) If they were, I would have my freinds Feraligatr right now.

Updates on trading.
~Ruby/Sapphire to XD:
In Ruby/Sapphire defeat the elite four and let your data get recorded in the hall of fame, in XD defeat Greevil in the second battle, you can now trade between the version
(in order to trade in XD you need to go to the pokemon center in Phenac City)
~Emerald to XD:
See Ruby/Sapphire to XD.
~FireRed/LeafGreen to XD:
In FireRed/LeafGreen defeat the Elite Four and give the Ruby and Sapphire to Celio on One Island. In XD defeat Greevil in the second battle, you can now trade between the versions.
~Colosseum to XD:
In order to trade between these games you need to have Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed or LeafGreen, you have to trade the pokemon from either Colosseum or XD into the gameboy version first then to the other game via the GBA-GCN link cable.
THERE IS NOW WAY TO DIRECTLY LINK DATA FROM COLOSSEUM TO XD OR VISA VERSA

12. Why does my Pokemon keep coming back to me when I try to release them?
That's because your Pokemon's Happiness is high; it likes you. As such, the game doesn't allow you to release it. What you will have to do is to treat that Pokemon badly for a while to lower its Happiness before you can release it.
Anyway, Pokemon shouldn't be released in the first place
Can pokemon really come back? How?

Apparently they can, but I've never seen it happen. Anyway, you quoted the answer to your question along with your question -_-

How do I get the Ruby & Sapphire in LG? Cause if it's on islands 4-7, I'm screwed for trading. I guess that's why Coloseum says "the GBA game pack is making adjustments." Crap.

The Ruby and Sapphire Gems can only be obtained after you get to Islands 4-7. Check the site's Sevii Islands Walkthrough for more details. Here's the link: http://www.psypokes.com/lgfr/walkthrough.php?part=19
