Edit 01/04/07: As of now, this thread will be converted to a thread for all questions relevant to RSE and not just Emerald. Ok, I've been searching for Johto Pokemon for quite awhile. (Safari Zone) I have my National Dex, do I have to do anything else? Is there a special section is the Zone I have to go to?

I'm looking mainly for Mareep and Houndour now.

EDIT: I found it. Gees, they can be hard to catch.

Will berries grow in Emerald?

I hear that you can fight the gym leaders a second time. How do you do this?

Emerald has growable berries, no VS seeker, it has match call, which is like the phone from GSC, registering the Gym leaders and then beating the pokemon league allows you to battle them again, but it may take awhile for them to get the rematch symbol next to their name. (after five hours Brawly finally wanted to have a rematch.)

I emphasize that questions which have answers that can be found in the links I posted will be deleted. The Emerald Changes page does state that the phone's match call is used to call up past trainers for rematches, including Gym Leaders.

And a tip for those going to the battle pike, a Kirlia may cause status alments like paralyze or poison. Beware of kirlia!

How are you guys doing in Battle Frontier? Just got the silver Battle Palace symbol. It's basically battling but it randomises your moves and comes up with "there's a glint in your opponent's eye" sometimes. Don't know what it means though. I had to use some of the pokemon my brother trained (terrible movesets, all offensive attacks) to win, as strategy has nearly no meaning if you have no control over what moves you're using.

i meant that you can now find EQ'S & Rest's with the pick-up ability!!!!!!!!!! its a bit new...but to get each you need certain levels for the pick-up'ing pokes...to get rest you need to be between 30-40 level and for EQ over 50 level...
