Well, the first thing I do...I usually find some means of increasing my insanity sociopathic ways skill in MoH multiplayer, so if I ever get a ps3 w/ internet connected, I can start PWNing people immediately. I'm already good enough to get headshots with a F*****G GRENADE!!! Not to mention an M1911.WARNING: The video in the link is not censored. Be cautious!

Read, videogames. I've recently read the new book BZRK, the older works on Edgar Allen Poe, and the over-100-year-old book Dracula. I've also recently got back to playing an online game I haven't gone near in at least two years (adventure quest worlds).

I know some spanish, but I really want to learn Russian and German. To connect with my heritage, know what the **** Rammstein is saying w/o text, and let's face it. If a zombie apopcalypse happens, Russian is a good language to know, as we all know how good Russians are at killing.

Spanish is basically English only less complicated. I think it's actually harder to learn French than Spanish (but since French and Spanish originate from Latin, learning it should be somewhat easier)

I think the worst bit for me was trying to add the -os ending to almost every word in the sentence when using the "nosotros" format, and when it's appropriate to use "[preposition] [infinitive]". Oddly enough, I remember almost all of my Spanish I, but near nothing of Spanish II. I think by the time I got to Spanish II I just wanted it to be over.

Or you could just learn Latin. It's pretty easy to learn since so much in today's languages is derived from it.

Actually, no. Latin is worse to learn than English. Any votes for getting this back on topic?

I take French right now, and it is a pretty tough language to learn. I'm finally starting to get the hang of it though, and all the verbs and their conjugations are falling into place.
And Samurott, the thread is fine. Stop being so controlling.

Well EXCUSE ME for thinking the topic was about what you do when youre bored and not about languages of the world! But apparently, it is about that, according to twist. Also, lol French.

All I was trying to say was that it's not too big of a deal if topics stray a little bit from the main idea. If anything, its what topics generally do.
It's not anything to start an argument over though.

I've held back for a long time, but I'm going to say it now: you've derailed so many threads the last few months it's unbelievable.
Also, "I'm bored" threads tend to go nowhere.
