This thread shows counters to most OU Pokemon.

First off, a Pokemon to counter CMCune.

We have:

Octillery @ Leftovers
Modest: 56 HP, 44 Def, 252 Sp Atk, 158 SP Def
-Fire Blast
-Hidden Power [Grass]
-Haze
-Thunder Wave

This guy hazes any CMs, and HP Grass deals 30+% damage to Suicine.

I'll post more later, and upon request.

as much as i love Octillery, it really wont be much use in doing anything except Calmcune countering.

I tested this guy out. Skarmory usually doesn't switch out, just to get FBed, which does ~94% to the average Skarm. It stops sweepers with T-wave, and negates their Sword Dances/Dragon Dances/etc with Haze.

I combine snorlax with milotic to counter Calmcune. (works quite well).

Countering Wobboffet:

Umbreon@Leftovers
Baton Pass
Wish
Sub
Mean Look

The Set is actually completely up to you. Just make sure you have Baton Pass on there. Now, When they either switch Wobbs in or they enter at the same time, pass to either Houndoom, Banette, or Gengar. Have Houndoom Crunch and Banette and Gengar use Shadow Ball. Dark Pokemon are immune to Mirror Coat and Ghost pokemon are immune to Fighting.

YOU NEED TO REMEMBER:

You cannot switch Umbreon into Wobbs. You'll need some prediction. You will have to either get Wobbs switched into you. Otherwise, this won't work.

Oh and Registeel got good.

Registeel@Leftovers
Naughty: 12 Hp, 186 Atk, 156 Def, 156 Sp.Def
-Curse
-Earthquake
-Explosion
-HP:Ghost

Great CBMence/Hera/Gross switch-in when they use something other than Earthquake. Not a bad switch in on a special pokemon with that 412 Sp.Def. Just Steer clear of Earthquake, Focus Punch, and Fire Blast.

No offence but that Octillery is bad. It's slow and if I was using Suicune and saw you switching in, I'd surf you first with one Calm Mind up. You'll haze and I switch out, repeating the whole thing again. Suicune is hard to take out, but seriously there are much better things as Octillery. This will only stall and remember Cune can still roar you out. And with some spikes down, you can't really do much.

MOD WARNING: Do not curse, period.

Actually, A Cmed surf on suicune with no special attack Evs does around 98 (32%) max damage on that Octillery, and suction cups prevent from being roared out, so it might actually work. However, it will be hard for the octillery to recover the lost HP so you might want something with wish to go along with it or add rest in place of a move.

Suicune counters:

Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Water Absorb
-Surf
-Haze
-Wish
-Baton Pass/Protect

Its not meant to really hurt it, just stop it =/. Toxic is an option, but no really a reliable one, as cune still has rest.

Gyarados @ Leftovers
Intimidate
-HP Flying
-Earthquake
-Taunt
-Dragon Dance

Taunt the CMs and Roars. Plain n' Simple. Base 100 SDef fends of the neutral Ice Beams well iirc.

Best Suicune counter/ecploiter IMO:

Regice@Leftovers
Clear Body
-Ice Beam
-Psych Up
-Thunderbolt
-Rest

Pretty straightforward. Psych Up after a few CMs and laugh as your sp. defense shoots up to about 1500. Then own with T-Bolt.

Needs more Thunder > Thunderbolt in this case. I used to disagree on VIL's idea about this, but it makes some sense. The accuracy will hurt when you miss, granted, but with Suicune's ability to phaze after the Psyh Up, You'll be better off trying to 1-2HKO with thunder than 3HKO with tbolt, as not to waste precious time/opportunity.

Heck, to counter any Wobbuffet is simply a stat-booster. My Blaziken with BulkUp and Return can easily take it out. I think they're annoying, but not horrible. I'm not certain what all the fuss is about. *shrug*

Will the Encore be passed on? And if it is, you can always switch too.

Encore lasts 2-6 turns if the caster is there or not. Yes, you can switch...but you didn't counter Wobbs.

Suicune Counter:

Quagsire@Choice Band
Adamant: Max Atk, generous Sp.def, def, and hp.
Earthquake
Focus Punch
Sludge Bomb
HP:Rock
Trait: Water Absorb.

...rawr.

Celebi Counter:

Shiftry@Choice Band
Adamant: 252 Atk, 252 Spd, 6 HP
HP:Bug
Explosion
Aerial Ace/Shadow Ball/Brick Break/Nature Power
Aerial Ace/Shadow Ball/Brick Break/Nature Power
Trait: Either

Put this on a sand battle field and you have CB Quake on Shiftry. Typing nulls Psychic and resists HP:Grass + Leech Seed; HP:Bug owns Celebi HARD.

Man It would've been fun to comment on the Blaziken reply from the jump.....but moving on, Countering Salamence:

Just use a good water type with Ice Beam =/. Swampert's probably best at doing this.

Countering Skarmory:

Magneton @ Leftovers
Magnet Pull
88 HP/168 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest
-Thunderbolt
-HP Fire/Ice/Grass
-Metal Sound/Thunder Wave
-Substitute

Self-explanitory. These are the EVs I like, so get rid of them if you want.

Magneton/Skarmory Counter:

Nosepass (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Magnet Pull
EVs: 92 HP / 224 Atk / 194 SAtk
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Thunder
- Taunt
- Earthquake
- Thunder Wave / Fire Punch

That is right. With Fire Punch you have an instant Forrey counter. EQ, Fire Punch, and Thunder are 2HKOs on the respective targets. YIPPIE. Taunt Skarm's Roar. EQ maggy on a switch. Fire Punch Forrey on a switch.

Nosepass can use Explosion.

Nosepass has a hard time switching in on Magneton, with its low HP. Magneton is not really a threat to most teams, Celebi/Blissey/Snorlax/Dugtrio or anything faster with Earthquake can scare it off.

Nosepass has a hard time contributing to the team if your opponent does not use one of the Pokemon it counters.

Agrred, in terms of Nosepass. But Maggie is meant for simply Skarm removal, just like many other things that are used to specifically counter things, which is what this topic is about =/. It can actually work well on a team, maybe more so with Metal Sound to take on Blissey, and/or Reflect against non-EQ Snorlax, and if predicted right, HP Ice/Grass vs. Duggie.

You aren't going to be switching into a Magneton unless you can predict correctly. I.E. You have a Skarm/Forretress and then switch immediately to Nosepass as Maggy is thrown in...or you baton pass Nosepass in. There are ways to work around direct switching in.

Also, Magneton was made to kill Skarm/Forrey. It is accomplishes that..then it IS useful. Threat or not, if it can do its job then more power to it.

Nosepass is one of the most useless pokemon out there however it is great to mess with the opponent's head. You skillfully wielding a nosepass could indeed make them think more cautiously about who they are up against.

Ludicolo Counter:(OTHER THAN THE OBVIOUS)

Venusaur@Leftovers
Calm: HP, Sp.Def, Def, Atk, Needs enough speed to hit 220.
Sludge Bomb
Sleep Powder
Synthesis/Sub
Seeds

Let see, LSeeds can't hit this thing. Eats Surf like a McBliss Muffin. Sludge Bomb verbally abuses Ludicolo and the poison chance makes me smile. Sleep Powder to smack the pokemon while it switches out, or if the Colo is daring and tries to Ice Beam, then Powder the dancing pineapple.

:/ Anything can BP to Nosepass as long as the BP User is slower than Maggy.

Counter for the SubDanceTar.

I've noticed a lot of people using Tyranitar and giving it:
Substitute-Dragon Dance-Earthquake-Rockslide/HP Rock

Here's the counter.
Claydoll@leftovers
Levitate
Impish/Jolly nature
