Yeah, I don't have time to check this entire discussion but if anyone already posted about Altering Cave then I'm sorry. If not, what is the point of altering cave?

Take oot your buttie binders! (Anyone from 6F should know this. If you don't Ms.Zoettler)

I believe it's already been mentioned, and is in the FRLG guide. If you use an E-card, the cave will alter (hence the name) and allow you to catch pokemon you normally can't catch. In FRLG, it was the Jhoto pokemon not catchable in the wild. I'd imagine it to be similar for Emerald.

CHIKKIN, please dont post that... x_x Its so embarrassing that you are in my class, and nobody else besides me is in your class, so about 2/1901 of the people here understand what you're saying. Dont make fun of her German accent. And I already told you that a couple of days ago about Altering Cave.
As Skytune said, you need to use an E-Card/get an AR. Cheating messes up your game, so I wouldnt reccommend the latter.
For Emerald, I think you can catch Qwilfish, Mantine, etc. the ones that were in FR/LG but not Emerald. What creeps me out is that the music and the cave are identical to FR/LG's. It was the same when I captured Lugia/Ho-Oh, the legend music is the same.

Just walk around the room you find TM 02 in. The bagon are fairly common, but you may have to walk a bit.

Do you have FireRed or LeafGreen yet? I would get one of those before Emerald.

Omg gardevoir you forgot one pro:

OMFG 2V2 BATTLES. You partner up with another random trainer and go against 2 other trainers. Very cool.

If you want more info check out the info on Emerald on the main Psypoke site.

Just how do you get another trainer to pair up with you in a double battle? I can't seem to figure out how. Maybe I'm just unfriendly...

Thought so. It never happens with those three trainers in the wild. Except for Steven at the SpaceCenter. Also, when a Shedinja evolves (or is created, appears, whatever), will it know the moves the Ninjask knows, or the moves the Nincada it evolved (or whatever) from?

It will learn the moves from the Nincada (not ninjask).

Sorry to correct you, but after evolving my Nincada and teaching the resulting Ninjask its moves, the leftover Shedinja knew the exact same moves. Which is interesting, as it can't in the psydex. :?

Yeah, that works. My Shedinja lv 20 has Fury Cutter, Fury Swipes, Harden and the other move Ninjask learns upon evolving >_<' .
Okay, I have something weird that happened. In the Battle Arena, is Greta the 21st or 22nd trainer you face? I lost on the last guy on my 3rd sweep and he had Steelix, Aerodactyl and Charizard. Im suprised Scizor won judgment against Steelix >_<' .

By maths, she'd be number 21 (7th of the 3rd round). I never kept track though, so I can't tell for sure. I'd check the main site and tell you but hey, I believe you can do that as well!

I used an AAce Zangoose against her Hera, and the rest is easy. Psychic and Faint attack on an Umbreon??! Oh the horror.... the stupidity...
At any rate, heracross seems to me the only one you really have to worry about in her team. But then again, almost any flying type move beats it fairly easily (OHKO, or 2HKO if you manage to pull a second blow off...), and aerial ace is compatible with many pokemon. Give it a try.

Well, it said, "Your seventh opponent is next are you ready" blah blah blah. Im guessing its after that guy. Im thinking she isnt the 21st trainer you face, she appears AFTER you've beaten 21 trainers. Back to the moveset editing..... >_<"

Maybe she's your 28th opponent, meaning, the last of FOUR rounds, and not three... I really don't remember, sorry, but I do know that no round has more than 7 battles, so if the judge says "here is your 7th opponent", I believe you have to go another round of 7 battles before facing greta. Sorry...

Darn. As I say, "When the going gets tough, the lazy get on te computer and look for hints."
I always thought every one was 21... excludign Lucy, seeing as the Pike has 14 rooms. Ah, well, I beat Brandon, maybe there IS hope. (Once I get my friends Milotic to borrow again >_<") Oh, I forgot, there is no hope for me. I am hopeless. :P

Out of curiosity, I asked this question:

What happens if two eggs hatch at the same step?
