Skytune, did you get around to testing the Dunsparce as well? I guess it's kind of useless for me to try helping with this set though, because you've already started on it. If you haven't tested the Dunsparce though and don't want to do more, I could test it quite soon.

Shoot! I knew I was forgetting something! I'll get right on it (tomorrow). After that, the testing's all yours. I won't be able to do any more until after winter break.

You might want to try shifting some EVs into Defense, for the Registeel. As for the Sceptile, do try Aerial Ace instead. It'll help against its weaknesses.

@Leftovers
252 HP, 129 Atk, 69 Def, 60 S. Def
Adamant (+Atk, -SAtk)
Iron Defense
Amnesia
Substitute
Focus Punch
Pretty easy to figure out. Would get owned by Hazers/PHazers, but it's worth a shot.

That'd also be pretty useless if you never can heal yourself other than Leftovers. It'll just die if you don't get the right Defensive boost up early. I don't really think it should be tested.
About the whole Psybucks prize for the Hall of Fame, that'll be sorted out after the final Psybucks system is up. I don't think it's worth it redonate all the Psybucks if it might need to be changed again.

Updated the Test List. Skytune, you will need to test the Dunsparce set and the Sceptile set. tiger10x, perhaps you can take the Registeel set to save Skytune some trouble?
In other news, I have awarded Psybucks to Skytune, Venumeleon and Benjamin (aka WPM) for being, or having been raters/testers for this thread. I don't think I would be giving out the Psybucks for each set in the HoF, or at least not yet, because that took quite a bit of time and time isn't abundant atm. If you feel strongly about this, post here and I'll see what I can do about it

That makes sense, but if you sub first, it should give you a turn to set up at least one of the right boosts.
I understand what you mean about no healing, but there isn't much else available except rest, but you can't add that without eliminating the point of the set.

ShellBell (That's the right name, yeah?). If you can get up the Substitute and then punch, you've at least recovered some health.

But still, the fact that the Focus Punch might not work and won't do enough damage as often won't get to be as good as a Leftovers.
(Welcome back )
Edit: I have an idea.
@ Salac
Bold / Trace
EVs: 252 Speed; 129 Def; 129 HP
- Destiny Bond
- Will-o-Wisp
- Wish
- Protect
This is not a Pokemon to stay in the action for long. Burn, Wish if they switch, and leave. Protect if you want the Wish recovery yourself. Salac, Destiny Bond for the last move if you can.

I think it's a sound idea. I've got an idea, and I don't know if it's already been done or not.
@SalacBerry
Adamant/Jolly nature, Guts
EVs: 252 Attack/Hp, 129 Hp/Attack, 129 Speed
Endure
Reversal
BellyDrum
HP Ghost

It's been done already, Skytune. Benjamin's set in the Hall of Fame.
EDIT: Any test results, Skytune?

Sorry, I forgot to look.
On the Registeel:
Works alright. Especially good against BPs and Stat-boosters. My favorite was when it took down a CalmCune. It had quite a bit of trouble when up against a Physical EQer with a LumBerry, though. I used EVs suggested, and used HP Steel instead of Return. I would say it makes it quite handily. I think it might help to put more EVs in Defence, but that will have to be tested by someone else.
On the Sceptile:
Didn't work as well as I'd hoped it would. I used ArielAce instead of CrushClaw for accuracy and a wider moveset, but even with a Liechi berry, it couldn't take out hardly anybody, and I was too busy Substituting to do any damage. Nice idea, but didn't quite make the cut.
On the Dunsparce:
The opponents kept switching on this guy. It didn't work quite so well when up against Ground types, but WaterPulse definatly helped. It didn't confuse quite often enough to be that helpful, and I never quite had the time to use CalmMind. But ThunderWave and Bite went really well. I think I would give this guy Lefties or a LumBerry instead of King'sRock, as it flinches enough without it. I think it should be tested by someone else, but in my opinion, it works. It just needs tweaking.

Thanks, Skytune. I don't believe they'll need too much more testing, and I'll mess with the EV's/Nature/Item if it comes down to a HoF or not. (Changes will be posted in the full set, because it would be easier)
So then I'll be testing Registeel, Dunsparce, and Gardevoir.
Edit: Gardevoir can't learn a few of those moves together. I'm replacing Wish with Taunt for a better combo. Just no heal.
Edit 2: Registeel makes it with a small adjustment. (Others need more testing though)
@ Leftovers
Careful / Clear Body
EVs: 252 Def; 129 HP; 129 Attack
- HP Steel/Metal Claw
- Earthquake
- Swagger
- Psych Up
Metal Claw if you think Swagger won't work some of the time or want another Attack boost anyway. I tried that and it still did well.
Edit 3: (...a lot of edits) Others' results
Dunsparce did okay. It was relatively hard to get going, but when it did, it did great. I changed the Item to Leftovers, but I didn't find anything wrong with the Nature or EVs though so that stayed. I'd say it's good enough HoF, but kind of borderline. Skytune did some testing with it, so he could decide on the final part. Either way, the new set is:
@ Leftovers
Modest / Serene Grace
EVs: 252 Def. 129 Speed; 129 HP
- Calm Mind
- Bite
- Water Pulse
- Thunder Wave
And Gardevoir did amazing. Will-O-Wisp completely destroyed some teams. Taunt worked so much better than I thought it would and stopped teams from Heal Belling off Will-O-Wisp. That was so fun to test. The set didn't change much, but I'll repost it, too.
@ Salac
Bold / Trace
EVs: 252 Speed; 129 Def; 129 HP
- Destiny Bond
- Will-o-Wisp
- Taunt
- Protect

I dont know if this has been submitted already, but...
@Petaya Berry
Timid Nature/Overgrow /Evs: 252 SA 252 Spd 6HP
Endure
Leaf Blade
HP Fire
Thunderpunch
I use this on my newly aquired NetBattle and it works pretty well. If you predict Sceppy is going to get pwned, Endure. Its speed should work fairly to your advantage. Petaya powers it up. Use one of the attacks to get its opponent down (or try). It usually can get through 2 Pokemon before fainting (maybe because my competitive battling skill stinks) .
Hp Fire and Thunderpunch are a good combo..... *coughNinjaskcough* Leaf Blade+STAB+Overgrow+Petaya=ouch.

I'm not too sure on the creative part of it, because Sceptile can usually do that type of strategy. I'd rather wait for a second opinion, because I don't really think it's creative enough.
Otherwise, to improve it, I'd think a Salac and Modest nature would get it better, just in case there is someone faster. If I test it, I'll test it both ways.

I just saw the Leech-subbing set, and figured, well, you get the point. I just saw someone on NB with Sceppy/HP Fire and it owned me. ;-;

There's a Mewtwo in the HoF that is relatively similar. Just that it wouldn't have Substitute and would last much longer. And work better all around, actually. Sorry.

First of all, we don't really give better movesets here, that's for the Rating Center. (Which you've already posted in, I've seen) This topic can be summed up easily in another topic found here. You should read that before posting here anyway.

Sorry, but I think neither are creative enough. Pikachu/Raichu are either Annoyers (i.e. the first moveset) or Special Sweepers (i.e. the second set) in the first place. Rest isn't that useful, because it can't really last two turns while sleeping.
