yeah i know but if there's one thingy i learned on my spriting yourney i was broke down to the bone with my sprites and now i got a different way for loooking at it this is they say just junk and rubbish but it's better to say the truth rihgt than to say something you actually may not like

We need less people like that in the world. Are you just going to sit there at a distance and point and insult him? Why don't you say what's wrong and help him improve? Fair enough to have your opinion, but at least say why you feel that way.

1. it needs shadeing
2. it needs a profile like you can see what it is(bcuzz all i can see is a blubbery thing witha eye)

I'm being honest here, I like them but you are a biginner (like me ) and you wil get the hang on it, try zooming in on Paint, it helps to get detail. The tools help too. Also, try shading a picture's colour part with checkerboard motion.

i always do the exact thing i zoom in on paint(800%)
and than go to work thats how i made all my work
and than i zoom out when i am half way and do some changes
ow yeah another thing that can help is experiment a little with collors

Actually, Paint isn't bad for beginners. There's other programs out there made for sprite art. Photoshop is good for making sprites too.

*Cough* I hope you meant Paint is a beginner program. I'm not a beginner spriter either, I'm not expert, but definately not a beginner. Maybe intermediate, as I'm having some trouble with customizing some sprites with little time. And I can't work with Photoshop ether with sprite work. I've read a few tutorials about it, and it doesn't seem right for me. It's better for sig work like your's, SK.

Paint is ok for making simple edits, but it's real bad when you think about it. It always adds noise to stuff when you save it, and it's difficult to work with.

Photoshop, you have a lot more freedom working on pixel art, and you can fix anything you mess up. And layers is the best thing ever, if you use it correctly.

Yes. I did mean Paint as a beginner program. I know of some people that make the craziest pixel art and done it with nothing but Paint. Now that I think about it, Paint can be a beginner AND an expert program. I just never like Paint. Ever. At all.

There are a lot of pixel art tutorials out there, and I know it does seem complicated, because I tried one before and got very frustrated with it and gave up.

Nyargh Paint rules.

The ctrl + Z thing isn't that helpful. Say your going for a major recolor. You've already recolored a great part of the image, but you slip up on something you just noticed. You want to go back and redo it, but you can't. Know why? The Ctrl Z thing can only work 3 times. After you press it 3 times you can't do it any more before that. It really sucks

I wish Paint had layers. It'd be my god if it did.
