"So," said Havec, speaking quietly and slowly as she tried to fit the pieces together. "Steelven and Chaos were attacked by Jedi Padawans a few days ago, as Raziel told me when I arrived. They were found to be under the influence of adrenaline crystals, probably not of their own will since any Jedi worth the title knows the damaging effects they cause afterwards. Steelven went to retrieve a crystal from the core of our little asteroid, so that Raziel might attempt to create an antidote. Meanwhile, Aven arrived, was possessed by the darkness we saw in him earlier, and attempted to flee elsewhere. We should note the coordinates he was flying towards, that may give us some hint as to the nature of his attacker. It was something very strong with the force- I have spent twenty years doing little else but honing my mind, and yet it still slipped past my defenses." She looked worried, and with good cause. The timing was too perfect to be coincidence; everything had to be related, somehow.

((Glad y'like it, Registeel. I took a few artistic liberties with Steelven's design- I think his skin is really supposed to be pale green, and the slitted nostrils was just me experimenting. I don't mind if you use it, but you may want to crop out just the heads or something, so it's not so large.))

Raziel listened to Havec as she spoke.

"I think I can answer your question there Havec" Raziel said, hearing her question about Aven's destination. "It seems the spirit was trying to take Aven to Mustafa, I heard him when I looked over the Security Recordings on my ship, you see, when I set a kamikaze course for Mustafa, Aven muttered something about taking him just where he wanted to go"

Aven felt slightly sheepish, being talked about and all, but when he heard of Mustafar, he looked up and nodded. "Yes, that was where I was going. I must confess that I had removed soem key defense codes from the system, I was probably taking them to whoever was controlling me. They may have learned the codes by possessing me, though, so we must stay alert. That is all."

"Defence codes can be changed, thank you for the warning Aven." She waved her hand over the table in front of her, prompting a translucent video display to appear in the air in front of her. "Mustafa, then." An image of the planet popped up, statistics floating about it. "Aven, if you could, please use the temple's information bank to research the planet. A connection between two minds is never entirely one way- if it was possessing you, you may have acquired some latent memories of what it was planning, and perhaps research will trigger them. Perhaps Raziel could accompany you? I would like it if you kept another trained Sith nearby, in case this entity tries to take control again.

"Chaos and Semmarv, if the two of you could explain the situation to the students, it would surely alleviate some panic- we do not want strange rumors to spread unchecked through the temple, best tell them what we know. Then the two of you might investigate any remaining clone war separatist weaponry that may be a problem, or a source of those droid ships. Steelven, I will need to speak to you a moment in private, and then we can chance the base security codes." Havec had a friendly sort of way of taking command, she made direct eye contact with each person she spoke to, and carefully toned each order so it really did sound like a polite request.

Aven nodded, downloaded Mustafar's various statistics, then walked out of the room and to the airlock. He waited there for Raziel and looked around at the various ships in the large docking bay adjacent.

Raziel stood up, walked out of the room and down to teh Airlock where Aven was waiting for him.

"Well we better get down to business, now as Semmarv said Mustafa was the last separatist stronghold during the Clone Wars, Now if I remember my Sith History correctly, Lord Sidious sent the newly appointed Lord Vader to Mustafa, but I can't remember the reason" Raziel said as the Airlock pressurized.

"I will do as you ask, master Havec, but I do not think that I am the best person to explain the situation. I can follow Semmarv around, but as I do not have any clue about what is going on, I fear that that would be the best I can do."

Chaos thought for a brief moment about what was going on. Separist technology, but that was all shut down by Sidious himself. Somebody must be recreating it for some reason.

"So, Raziel," Aven said, turning to face the ex-bounty hunter, "which ship would you like to take? I recommend some sort of stealth ship, seeing as the head-on attack isn't the best option for this mission."

"I recommend we take a couple of V-Wings, they're good for stealth missions since they're so small" Raziel said.

He looked around the Hangar, looking for a couple of V-Wings.

"If you have been around awhile, Chaos, the students will recognize you. Semmarv may need the voice of authority to back him up, and I am sure he can explain the situation to you as well." She stood up, walking to Steelven on the other side of the table as the last of the brief meeting cleared up.

Aven nodded his head and jumped into a V-wing. He sat in the cockpit uncomfortably - tail in the way - but it was manageable. The engines fired up and Aven shot out of the docking bay and headed for Mustafar.

Raziel too jumped into a V-Wing, the engines fired up and the small ship shot out of the Docking Bay.

"Alright Aven set course for Mustafar" Raziel spoke over the headset.

Raziel then noticed something about the controls for teh V-Wing.

"Aven these things have cloaking mechanisms, we'd better use them as we approach Mustafar" Raziel said.

"A control ship would be possible, but I can give you some good reasons why it is not the case. One, a ship would cost a lot of money. I do not think that anybody could build a ship like that without somebody else noticing. The next reason is that a ship would be easy to destroy, and easier to locate than a well hidden planetary base. My guess is that if the droids are controled by some thing universal, than it is something spread out on multiple planets and ships. This force seems more intelligent than the Trade Federation of late."

"It is... an interesting possibility" admitted Havec, "but at the moment, I do not wish to encourage Aven into trying to do more than just a preliminary sweep of the planet, nor taint his perception of what he finds with our theories. I have a very... alarming suspicion on who our mysterious foe might be, and Aven is best prepared to identify him without outside interference. If you would like, Semmarv, you are welcome to research the possibility. You have access to the base's full archives, yes?"

"Semarv, in his desire to help, has seemed to have forgotten his original task." Chaos smiled, "But if you are certain that the younglings will listen to me, I can go notify them of our current situation. Would you happen to have anything that you would like me to tell them, or just the broad over view."

"If Steelven has placed his trust in you, I'm sure they have followed suit, and will listen well." Havec was mildly amused by the apprentice's enthusiasm, but had chosen not to comment. In truth, she was keeping him along primarily because he was not tied down to one particular stream of thought. Too often did the Jedi forget that a single apprentice could change the tide of battle, with an open mind and a new idea.

"Tell them what we know, that there has been an attack on the temple from Jedi under the control of adrenaline crystals, and there is likely a greater threat that sent them. I shall consult Steelven on the matter of promotions, I sense a few minds amongst them who are perhaps due for a change in rank."

Aven arrived at Mustafar quickly, the V-Wing being fast for a stealth ship, and immediately engaged the cloaking device. He opened the comm channel and said, "why do we need cloaking? This planet is dead, as far as we know."

Raziel followed Aven and engaged his Cloaking Mechanism.

"You just answered my question, as far as we know, there is still a possibility that someone or something might be here" Raziel spoke over he Comm Link. "Don't fly too low, the lava jets will fry us in an instant, lets just make a primary sweep of the planet and head back."
