"Meh...discount this..." Roy mumbled, still trying to wake up Angela.

"Just forget about Angela; the only reason she called you Dark Tyrant was because she was mad, just relax, and let's do whatever we were going to do. We might find some of those ramblers inside that tavern over there," he pointed over to the Generic Tavern.

Undead gave the Yoshi a thankful push to the ground and crossed the square to the Gen' Tav'. He pushed the door open and the familiar smells wafted out. Terrible food, horrid drinks, and stinky old men assaulted his senses and his wallet. He calmly pushed all three out of the way, one of them off a barstool, and sat down. "Two drinks for me, please!" He shouted, and the drinks were placed on the bar. He pushed them over happily and waited for the other two to sit down next to him.

Ach, guess we'll have to do it the hard way... Roy looked around for something similar to an inn. As soon as he spotted one he lifted Angela up onto his shoulders, and started walking towards it.

When they got close, he read the sign: "INNER INN".
"Generic name...ah well." He walked inside, still holding Angela. The receptionist just gave him a key to a room, no charge or anything. Guess Undead was right for once.

He carried Angela up the stairs, laid her down on the bed, then sat near a window watching the Generic Tavern, waiting for Undead to come back.

Suddenly someone walked over to Undead. He was a crazy old guy, looked about seventy hundred, and either smelled of stale whisky or smelled whisky stalely. "Ah kno' hoo y'are," the old man said, his rotten teeth rotting visibly, "y'r th' giy hoo wornts two d'feet Dr'k Tie Rant!"

Undead nodded, grinning. He had found his rambler. "Yes, that's me," he said, looking around to see if Merman or Dinoguy had come in yet.

Stewart didn't expect the force of the push to be strong enough to make him lose his balance and fall down, but it did. He quickly got up and dusted himself off, then headed for the Generic Tavern.

He went inside, and found Undead at the front, with a few drinks off to the side of those. Stewart quickly walked up to the seat next to Undead, sat down and grabbed one of the drinks.

"For me? You shouldn't have," he joked.

Roy squinted, trying to see inside the tavern as best as he could. Who's that person he's talking to...looks creepy...and drunk. Roy thought.

Undead nudged the Dinosaur and pointed at the rambler. "We've found our guy," he said, pushing over the Dinosaur's drink.

Undead then turned to the rambler and put his hand on the old man's shoulder. He thought better of it, and took his hand away, giving it a thorough spit-clean. "Okay, sir, I have a way in which you can help us beat the bad guy. Have you ever heard of... the Arpeenian Relix?"

The Rambler nodded, smiled, and began...

"Suspense!" Undead interrupted, and waited for the music and the talking of the other patrons to quiet down.

The door opened. Roy almost jumped out of his skin....but it was just the receptionist-person. She threw a small beeper at Roy, then closed the door. He opened the note attatched to the beeper.

"Use this if more people arrive.
~ Management"


Roy looked puzzledly at the beeper. Whatever. Now...back to watching Undead... He walked over to his chair and began watching again.

((Darnit! I keep missing everything because I never have time to be online. Oh well, we'll just say that Murmanthius isn't a big talker unless insulting some one. Namely, the dino-dude. By the way, nice nickname.))

As soon as they had landed, I had reverted back to the dark-haired boy. It certainly seemed odd how accustomed everyone seemed to be to a large, flying stage landing in the middle of their town, as well the terrifying appearance of something as ugly as that turtle-eating monstrosity, but I decided it was best to fit in.

And now I had to follow Undead, along with that mindless freak, to some tavern where we were greeted by an overpowering aroma of whiskey, body odor, and other unpleasant human-smells. The man who Undead was speaking to was of the foulest appearance: bedragled, stooping, and it seemed like he was giving off about 80% of the smell in the large room. In addition, it really didn't seem like he was the kind of person to have great knowledge of how to defeat that big, scary Dark Tyrant.

"You must be kidding", I said, standing behind Undead. "This is our source of knowledge and wisdom?"

((Ugly? Mindless freak?!? ))

"Well it's not like you know how to beat him, so what do we have to lose," asked Stewart, swirling his drink around, still not knowing what it exactly is.

Roy almost fell asleep watching the three in the tavern...Matter of fact, he did. He woke up when he fell out of his chair.

That woke him up nicely. He resumed his post at the window, but instead of watching the Tavern he watched the stars. He thought he could see something flying around up there, but figured it was just a bat or just from him being half-asleep.

((I don't mean it S_S, but Murmanthius makes enemies quickly. He's just like that. Who knows, we may not always be enemies... ))

"Get on with it you brainless moron!" I said, impatiently. For some reason, I had a strong desire to keep moving. "This is pointless. Why couldn't you have chosen a rambler that wasn't quite as drunk and with a slightly more lemony scent?"

((Is Undead coming back soon? If not maybe someone should godmod the drunkard...make him sing or something to pass time...Roy's going to end up hurting himself soon lol))

The rambler rubbed his stubble, which seemed to be filled with little bits of broken glass, and he beagn to talk, "w'll ah theenk ah h'rd o' s'm relicks inn dat dere svamp."

Undead nodded thoughtfully and said, "well that's all I really need to go. Let's go." Then he stood up and walked out of the door. The rambler tried to follow, but the negative alcohol in his body was attracted to the positive alcohol in the bar, and thus he couldn't leave. Undead ignored the rambler's internal struggle and pushed his way through the practically empty square and into the Inn, where he found his way up to their room.

((Even though I had tried to reply earlier, my Internet suddenly decided to disconnect- - and left me without a reply.))

Angela awoke when she heard a crash.
"Roy!" she said as she began to laugh, "What are you doing?!"
If that was his way of waking me up, he did a good job. she laughed a little more, then sat up.
"By the way, have you seen Undead, Merman and Stewart?"

((I'm assuming she meant right before they came))

"Err...sorry. Watching a window's pretty boring...and I haven't seen any of 'em yet. The attendant person gave me this for when they do get here...I think."

A few minutes later the three arrived. "Heh, I was wondering when you three'd show up. Hit the button on this thing will ya?" He threw the beeper at Undead.

"What is that?" I asked. I didn't wait for an answer. "So, all we have to go on is the word of a completely drunken rambler that says that there is a slight possibly of the relic being in a swamp. No specific swamp. Just, a swamp. Which could be massive and impossible to navigate. And in addition, we don't even know what this relic looks like. Nor what it might be used for." I paused. Then I threw a mock salute. "Brilliant plan captain, there isn't any sliver of doubt that we will arise victorious."

"The attendant-person said to use that if any more people arri-gah, give it to me." He took it back and hit the button, and the room grew larger and four extra beds appeared. "Well, that was handy."

"And...I don't...really like swamps."

"Do you EVER stop complaining? I'm surprized you don't consider yourself an annoyance; I mean, jeez. Oh no a swamp, whatever shall we do? I mean, how many swamps can there be in one area?"

"One of my relatives died in a swamp. That's why I don't like them much." Roy yawned, then sat on the chair again. He stared out the window.

"Sorry for your loss, Roy. Oh and Stewart, to answer your question, considering how large Arpee is, you better be ready to get your feet wet. I'm sure there's quite a few." Angela said, giving a shrug.
Oh and should I apologize to Undead for calling him Dark Tyrant? After all, I was pretty ticked off at him earl-on second thought, I should try something else. Angela thought, frowning deeply.

"Meh, thanks for caring. Now, we're leaving in the morning, right? Then we'd better get sleep." He sat down on the bed closest to the window.

Undead yawned and said, "I know what he's talking about, don't worry. I've heard other rumours to the same effect. So, shall we get into a lying position on our respective beds and think about what happened during the day?" Then he sat on a bed, crossing his arms. "I don't sleep," he added, looking serious.

"Heh, I wouldn't doubt it with all the coffee you drink." Roy added. "Well...goodnight." He laid down on his bed, and went halfway to sleep. He usually did that as Drakaan, but his thoughts of Angela, Dark Tyrant, and his almost totally dead family among other things kept him halfway awake.
