The Midnight Med chopper arrived almost without warning, braking to a stop, and dropping towards the ground with expert skill. Fortunately, the clearing was big enough for the chopper and... What on earth is that? Sven activated the exterior loudspeakers, and said into his headset mike "This is a Team Midnight Medical Helicopter, at the disposal whoever or whatever needs help. I can't help you if you keep that... whatever it is, forcefield, up, though."

And exactly what I was thinking, Gardy, about the guns...wasn't this supposed to be a peaceful-ish rivalry?))

Eirika stopped at the edge of the woods, staring into the forcefield. Allan was leaning over Serra, Serra had blood on her shirt, and Magil was pointing a gun at his own team member, also holding a gun...

<Lairi, you help with the forcefield. D.J., guard Lairi, as she's going to be out in the open.> At that moment, Rick and Makida got there. <You two, help guard Serra and Allan.>

Her Gardevoir teleported as close as she could to the forcefield, and started using her psychic power to help the Metagross and Espeon. The Blaziken stood close to her, making sure nobody was going to attack her. Her Manectric and Jolteon were walking around the dome, like Flash was.

Eirika looked back. Rogue was carrying someone on his back as he ran through the woods. He dropped the person off a short distance away, then walked over to Eirika.

He glanced over at Serra, then eventually back to Ghost. He snarled an Arcanine snarl at him. He knew that it was Ghost who hurt Serra.

<Rogue, watch him. If he makes one move, torch him.> Eirika said. She walked out to the beach. She really didn't like jumping in and attacking, as it almost always made her look like a fool. She turned to face the dome. <Is there anything I can do to help...?> she asked.

"And you in the boat, make one move and my Pokemon'll be on you faster than I can teleport. Hear me?!" she yelled at Ghost.

Makida and Rick glanced up at the helicopter. They heard that it was a med helicopter, so they ignored it. The two knew it wasn't going to hurt anyone.

Arriving at the clearing, Will's first action was to make as much distance as possible from the strange Arcanine. It was only after that he relized what had happened. Magil waving a gun at Ghost, Serra from psyche lying on the ground, possibly dying.

"Ghost, you didn't...how could you?" This is going to ruin Magil's hope for peace for sure. That old bat was always somewhat of an extremest. "Magil, what happened, why did Ghost shoot her?"

((People do some really strange things.))

Damean put the gun away, "Let me out of this forcefield." he said, "You get out of here, get Serra some medicla attention, I'll take care of my team, we'll leave but I'll be back, and alone next time."

Damean walked over to Serra and laid a golden necklace on her chest, it had a purple gem decorated with gold thorns, "Tell her that I'm sorry when she comes to, tell her that's a gift I wanted to give her a long time ago."

Damea walked over to the edge of the barrier and struck it with his fist, a hole ripped in it, "Good bye." he said stepping through the hole, it sealed behind him, leaving no trace of the rip, "Fall Back, NOW!" Damean said as his Gengar appeared beside him, both it and Damean disappeared, they were gone.

Eirika motioned to her Pokemon to stand down. "Alright...now that they're gone..."

"I don't think you need the forcefield anymore, Allan. It's not going to help us get Serra to the hospital any faster..."

Cail, late as always, landed by Eirika, staring at Serra. "Fly..."

"Well, are you going to stop this nonsense, and bring her aboard, or are you going to sit inside there and let her die? Come on, I can have her to the Mossdeep Hospital in under five minutes, and I'm sure every minute counts at this point. Stop thinking of me as an enemy, and start thinking of me as a human being who's trying to help another human being. Besides, Magil'll have my hide if she dies." Sven said through the loudspeaker.

((Actually, I was waiting for CF to post, but I'll go along. As for the god-moding, Angel was just removing the bullet. And your character was pretty overpowering too when he ripped a hole in a force field strong enough to keep out a legendary. ))


Allan took the necklace and placed it in Serra's pocket, so it wouldn't get stained by the blood. Then he snapped his fingers, and the force field dropped, and his Pokemon returned to their Pokeballs.

Allan gently picked up Serra and walked towards the medical helicopter. When he passed Ghost, he gave the old man a hard cold stare. Then he stepped into the helicopter without a word.

(( Ahh, what a twist. Also if we are "Pokemon Gangs" then I guess we would use guns. Makes sense to me. ))

Suddenly Ghost appeared in front of the helicopter; he was fast when he wanted to be. "If you take off in that helicopter you'll find yourself with a bullet in between your eyes," he said to Frag, leveling the gun at the Midnight's head, "I believe that's a fair punishment for treason. Get those Psychians out of your helicopter, now."

Ghost gripped his cane tightly, ready in case someone attacked him. I just hope it's recharged by now.

((Oh, come on, I just want to help her! Can I decapitate you with the helicopter blades before you fire, I wonder? ))

"Ghost, I think it's you who's committing treason. To quote Magil,

I fail to see how shooting me, while I'm obeying a direct order from your superior officer, not to mention helping a fellow human being, is anything less than utter rebellion; assuming, of course, that you're still part of Team Midnight. I'm going to take off in five seconds, and if you shoot me, then I'll make sure this chopper takes you with it, me, and the Psychians. Unless you've lost every shred of human decency, not to mention sanity, I'd suggest you stand down."

((A force field around the chopper capable of stopping a bullet would be nice right about now...))

(( The only way the chopper blades would kill me is if I was... really really tall ))

Ghost hesitated for the second then glanced at the forest. There are Psychians left in there, doubtless. They won't be happy with me shooting their friend. Perhaps...

"I'm coming with you," Ghost said, walking around the front of the chopper. He kept the gun aimed at Frag as he climbed in, then said, "let's go, an quickly. The girl's lost a lot of blood. But we have to make it quick, I don't want those people around us for too long."

((You. People. Are. HOPELESS. Instant healing, guns being used left, right and centre, supposedly inpenetrable force-fields that people walk through magically.. its enough to make me want to die to get away from it!! Quit with the all-powerfulness already!! Gah!! >_<))

Opening her eyes weakly, Serra wondered where she was.
"Allan... where are you?" she whispered, still not moving. The wound may have been closed, but she had still lost a lot of blood.

((Thats right, I refuse to get better! *cackle manically*

Ghost, hearing Serra's call, looked into the back section of the chopper. "Don't touch her!" Ghost said, readying his cane, "you'll just make it worse. We have some of the best medical facilities in the world, so just hold on. Also this may be the wrong time to say this, but you two are now prisoners of Team Midnight, at least from my point of view. Magil might be more compassionate, but as far as I am concerned you are the enemy, and you cannot go free."

Allan gently placed Serra down. He took out his phone and spoke into it. After a few simple commands, he finally said, "You all know what to do." He put the phone back in his pocket and whispered softly to Serra.

"I am needed elsewhere. Magil said he was sorry, and he left you a necklace."

Allan reached into his coat took out a small golden watch. It belonged to his father before he was murdered. Allan always kept it with him.

"I will probably be gone for a month. This is something to remember me by."

Allan placed the watch in Serra's hand, and closed her fingers. "I am leaving it in your care until I return."

He slowly leaned forward and kissed Serra softly. "I will never forget you."

Allan took out a small piece of paper, and wrote something down. He folded the paper and stood up. Ghost still had the gun leveled at them, and Allan stared at him. He may not be the most advanced psychic in the world, but he still had enough power to make the old man squirm. Allan said coldly, "Try and stop me."

Allan walked over to the other Midnight and handed him the note. "Give that to your leader."

Then he step over to the side of the helicopter and released Drake. The Salamence roared and Allan climbed onto his back. Without another word, they flew away and soon disappeared in the sky.

The note simply read: Magil, I will be gone for some time. I am leaving Serra with you until I return. Take care of her, and you will have gained my trust. Your adversary, Allan.

Erick points to a training room and handles some sort of a bracelet to Dave. The bracelet has a metallic appearance but it doesn't feel at all like metal, its color is purple and has a small button with a crossbones symbol on it.

- Press the button on the bracelet when you're ready. You'll feel like electricity running through your body, but it will be just a few seconds. Like I told you, it could hurt.

Finally regaining his senses, Levin grabbed his shoulder in pain.

What the-... where is everyone? The boat was still there, but no one in site.

I wonder if the girl died... I'm not sure I managed to push Ghost in time... But for some reason, I hope I helped in some way. I sure hope I did, or all these bruises will have no meaning to ease the pain...

"Everyone left in a rush,"

Alex helped him up.

"okay, hold on, go dragonite. Here protect these" Dave hands dragonite his pokeballs and umbreon stays with dragonite. Dave hits the botton and feels electricity, "was that all?" this guy better hurry up, I need to be places.

((Okay, good, the story didn't advance too much.))

As they took off, Jonny said "Glad you decided to join us." to Ghost. He'd taken the note, and glanced at it's contents, then slipped the note into a pocket in his cape, zipping it. Well, I guess we're changing destinations. That's alright by me, the med facilities in Blackthorn are at least as good as Mossdeep's.

The Chopper made excellent time. Sven radioed ahead to Midnight HQ, and the med team had everything ready for emergency surgery as soon as they got there. The team looked at him questioningly when they saw the patient's uniform, but Sven just glared, and they got to work. Serra wasn't in great shape, but she was in stable condition after the med team got done with her.

After seeing the Psychian safely to the Post-Op facilities, he went in search of Damean, to deliver the message from Team Psyche's Leader.

Erick looks through the crystal wall which separates the rooms. He smiles wide when he watches the computer screen and sees the results.

- It works!! He haven't noticed yet, but the instruments don't lie. I've finally created a device which grants pokemon abilities to human beings. I'm now ready to fulfill my dreams. How are you...

Through the glass, Erick is amazed to see Dave is now floating in the air and that some kind of gas from his body is slowling filling the room.

- This is getting better and better. I knew he will be able to float and expel poison gas, but I've thought it would take much longer. Maybe he's ready to use all of my Weezing's abilities? Dave try to move and do anything you feel you're able to. Tell me if something is wrong. I wonder what will be the side-effects of this. Will happen to him what has happened to me?

Cassie reached the others, and said, "What the blazes happened here?" Noticing some Midnight people, she said, "Can...someone, tell me?"
Noticing some people absent, she said, "Uh, where's Serra.....and...Allan?"
Meanwhile, Psy was staring down from the trees, and getting there ages before her, saw everything. He preffered not telling her in detail, for he couldnt himself take in what had happened. After leaning on the tree trunk and crossing his arms, he lost himself in thought. <Hmph. Some of those Midnight people are rather kind. Yet,> He thought of Ghost, and would have loved to suspend him in mid-air. <some of them arent.>

<Well, you're a huge help, Psy.> Lairi said sarcastically. <From what I've been able to infer, Serra was shot. The 'Midnight Med Helicopter' took off with Allan, Serra, and a few other Midnights on board, most likely the one who tried to kill her...> she said. <I just hope that she's alright.>

Eirika looked over at the boat. There was still someone near it. <D.J., go see who it is. If it's someone from Midnight, get them over here. Now.>

The Blaziken walked over to where Levin was. He knew that Levin was a Midnight just by the way he looked.

"Blaz." He grabbed Levin, and slowly dragged him over to the others, trying not to hurt him. He seemed injured enough already.

"And you would be...?" Eirika asked sternly. She wasn't on the best of terms with Midnights at the moment.


Meanwhile, Rogue went back into the woods, looking for Will. As soon as he spotted him, he nudged him gently, trying to get him to go over to the others.

Looking up to the young woman, he managed to speak faintly:

"Levin... Levin Dartz"

My shoulder hurts bad enough as it is, I hope she doesn't get any funny ideas about injuring me even more... Little does she know I actually tried to save a friend of hers... Hell, it's all upside down. Midnight turns against me and Psyche... well, maybe Psyche's against me too... in that case there's nothing confusing about the situation: I'm just screwed, plain and simple.

"Who are you, and what are you going to do with me?" She was obviously a Psychian, and although she looked stern.. she didn't seem exactly dangerous.

But you can never tell...

((Correct except for one part, Allan left on some sort of secret mission for about a month, and isn't on the chopper. Read Gardevoir's last post again for details.))

"My name is Eirika, and I heard just about everything you just thought." she laughed softly. "I don't plan on hurting you, Levin. The first thing I want to have happen is have your shoulder looked at. You said it hurts, right?"

Heh, can't wait to see what he thinks of me reading his mind. she thought.

Dave takes off the braclet, "well congrats on your success, but I need to leave." Things are too quiet. Something is going on. Dave flys on dragonite to mossdeep.

Then he sees Levin being awoken by a psychian. "dragonite head down there." Dave lands near the psychian, "hello, hows your day.?"
