Bob recalled his Ludicolo and looked at the pokeball "Well done Ludi, You did just as much as i expected" Bob attached the pokeball to his belt and pulled out another. "Go Shears, Let's take this fight to the Skies" As Bob released the pokemon in a glow of light a flew up to the roof.

Well done, Omastar. Now let's see... a Scizor? Oh well, at least we don't have a type disadvatange this time.

- Your Ludicolo was a great opponent. I hope your Scizor is good enough. Go Khal!!

Erick releases his (male, Damp@Shell Bell) which looks directly at the flying bug pokemon and "smiles".

Let him make the first move, cause we will make the last

((As were only allowed one Egg Move, my scizor has Endure via Move Tutor and Reversal via Breeding and is Holding Salac Barry))

"Yes your Omastar was also a strong opponent, but your Golduck doesn't have a chance. Scizor stay as high as you can and use Swords Dance."

If i can pump Scizor up enough then Endure Reverse combo, this should be a snap

The announcer comes over the loud speaker again. "The next match-up will be decided once the battle between Bob and Erick concludes."

How surprising! I never thought he'd ordered a Scizor to use Swords Dance. It is so original...

Khal, those little stones over there. Use Psychic and throw them to Scizor!

Staying out of range when you can't attack at distance either isn't a very smart thing to do.

Shears will spin in the air in a peculiar fashion that creates the illusion of swords around it. However, by the time it stops he realizes he missed a part of the dance and gained no stat boost. (M_M, you can't have your pokemon doing anything, you can only give commands. Also, there is no roof to fly up on, the fields are all outside.)

Its frustration concerning its stupid mistake leaves it open to Khal's barrage of psychically controlled rocks. When the attack is over, Shears feels its special resistance weaken a little.

((Well can't he be in the sky, i just thought we were inside))

"You stupid Scizor, how can you forget the Dance! Now use Protect and get in close to that Golduck!"

I knew i shouldn't have used that thing, He'll get beat easily

Khal go to the pool and use Secret Power!

((What was wrong is that he had his scizor fly up instead of giving me the order and having me DM it.))

Khal dives into the pool in the middle and begins to glow an unusual color. The attack than shoots up aiming right for Shears. It may have done some damage if not for the fact that Shears had created a green force field around himself during his decent.

A young nurse approaches both of you and holds out two trays with spearical grooves in them.

"I am the tournament head nurse and it is my job to heal your pokemon." She says.

Good! now we are in the water, this should be a pretty quick battle

- Khal, go underwater and stay where you can see me.

(I guess it wouldn't hear me underwater, so I will command it through gestures (?). If there's no place where it can see me... well, I guess I could handle that)

Khal dives just below the water line while staying in view of Erick. Meanwhile, Shears takes to the sky and begins to focus his mind. After a few moments, his tendons begin to twitch and tighten, giving him easier mobility.

My pokemon had to be made of steel didn't it. Now i can't send him in the water after that Golduck.

"Shears, i want you to stay in the Sky and use Swords Dance, Just get it right this time"

((I know. This is going to be funny ))

Erick looks at his pokemon and nods. Then he relaxes, close his eyes and lows his head. At the same time he moves one hand as if grabbing something right in front of his face and throws it away.

I hope he'd got it

Shears once again attempts his sword dance. This time, as if some unseen force was pleased, he gets it right. Now with stronger limbs and tighter tendons, he is a quick and deadly foe. However, like before, his sword dance left him unguarded against a water pulse that Khal sent speeding upwards from underwater.

The water pulse does more damage than normal thanks to the effects of the psychic attack earlier, but Shears is still up for battle.

((I figured it was water pulse because I remeber a DBZ episode where Goku fires energy balls at frieza from underwater and water pulse seems like the closest thing to energy balls that golducks can do.))

((I'm such a good mime... 8) ))

Erick awaits for Golduck to watch him again and quickly rises one arm while looking to the Scizor, then shouts:

- Psych Up now!

Right this isn't working

"Shears, return! Go Cloyster. Cloyster jump under water with that Golduck and use Toxic"

Shears is returned to his pokeball just in time. Had another second past, Khal would have absorbed his stat increase. In Shears's place, Cloyster appears and dives into the water.

((Toxic is a different turn, I have to give stellar a chance to give an order too.))

((I'm assuming Khal is no longer underwater, since he was able to hear the last instructions...))

- Khal, get that Cloyster out of the pool using Psychic!!

((I was going to order a Whirpool, but I don't know if we're allowed to use past generations TM/HMs))

"Quickly Cloyster while he's lifting you up in the air use Toxic on it"

Khal jumps out from underwater ((You can hear underwater)) and begins to use its psychic powers to "throw" Cloyster out of the water and back on to dry land. When Khal finishes, it believes all has gone well, until it sees the purple slime soaking into its skin, causing it to have a progressively worse stomach ache.

Good, now theonly way to get rid of the Poison is to use rest

"Well Done Cloyster, Now use Screech on it"
