Im the best actor in my school

I too am interested in acting, having just completed playing the role of Monsieur (sp?) D'arque in "Beauty and the Beast". It may not seem like a big role, but too have a speaking part in the High School Musical when you are only in Middle School is incredibly rare.

However, I'd have to say that my favorite afterschool activity is definetly Marching Band. I'm play Snare in Battery Percussion, and it's worth mentioning that our band went up two divisions in three years, something that has never been done before. We are in the highest class we can be in, and we still win first.

Well, it's school-related, but I love rehearsing for my school's annual drama production! We're doing A Tale of Two Cities and I am Jacques 1 8) It's so much fun - and we even have a real, working guillotine..

Anyone familiar with my country's educational system would have heard of "co-curricular activities". Basically they are like afterschool activities, just that they are considered part of our curriculum as the Ministry of Education aims for all-rounded development ;o

Anyway, I was a Boy Scout once, and currently I'm doing community service on a regular basis. As for my leisure activities, I enjoy playing soccer/futbol/football/whatever-you-call-it. These are the main things I do =x

After school, I just do lots of (what I call) exercise and training. "Kissing" the floor/ground, sit ups, rope jumping, marching, streching, climbing(over walls, ladders, rolling, catch a live insect/small animal, stairs and trees), play badminton, "surfing", running, mind exercises, eye exercises, lift weights, race elevators, jumping from the staicase, and of course warm-up.

After school, baseball takes up a lot of my spare time. I play Left/Right field. However, on Tuesdays, I have to go to religous classes.

Tuesdays I'll do an Extra Science class that will get me an extra GCSE and on Wednesdays, I do an Extra IT class, that will get me another 1 and a half GCSE's.

Most days I'll go home play some POkemon on my GC/GBA or play some WoW on my comp.

Afterschool Activities? What are those?..... I'm kidding, I'm kidding I know what they are, well in our school we have four houses (Sandon, Weston, Tixall and Chetwynd) and each house is making a website, so I spend about half an hour after school designing that, our House Group is actually heading the website, and as the only person that's any good at IT in my House Group guess who's "Project Manager".... Me, so I'm the one stuck doing all the work with a bunch of Year Sevens and Eights (I'm in Year Nine) I have Lunch Time meetings three times a week and... well... I'm making some sprites for it as well, including a massive school logo, so I'm currently advising the "Team" and making sprites, Can you call it work if you enjoy it? Oh well......

The only constructive "activity" I do after school would be my job. Basically I only work because no one's going to buy me a car for my birthday this summer, not even in my dreams. (trust me) Also my state has ridiculous insurance rates.... actually most things in this state are ridiculous. But anyway one more year and I'm done with high school, I can't wait.

Besides work, I don't participate in any organized activites. Sometimes we will get everyone on the block together and play a game of kickball on the woods, but you're more likely to find me with one or two good friends lighting s*** on fire in the woods. We don't hurt anybody, we just like to have a good time.

I'm not in any after-school/extracurricular activites as of now, apart from making random projects for classes (i.e. the test for Science class I'm working on now).

Apart from that, I usually do one of the following:
Computer (Internet)
Gamecube
Play with the dogs/walk them (You haven't lived until you've chased a 3-month old Dachshund through the yard...*sigh*...)

Sometimes (though rarely), I go for a walk on the Gooseneck with my mom and dad. (The Gooseneck is a walking trail at Montour Wildlife Preserve. It's awesome--you can see wild deer/turkeys/squirrels/what-have-you.) Once it gets a bit warmer, I might start going on bike rides with my dad again. That is, once my bike gets its tires redone...bleh. ^_^

When I was in school, I spent a lot of time afterwards playing video games. At 16, I got a job. Not my first job, but a legal form of employment that was more than just weekend work hours. Long hours of labour and physical abuse build character. Everyone should have a job. I know too many people that don't work, who should. Even those who don't attend school. But then again, I would consider one person too many.

When I was in school, I didn't really do anything that's considered an afterschool activity, except I'd stay at school to study for exams or the Vestibular (a national exam you need to pass so you can enter college). That wasn't really organized by the school or teachers, but we were allowed to stay there after classes anyway.

In 5th, 6th and 7th grade, if I'm not mistaken, I used to go to the english course, and in 10th grade I studied for 6 months italian. That's all the afterschool I've in fact attended, but when I was very young I used to go swimming after classes.

Now in college, I study from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, so an afterschool kind of activity is not possible. What I do is either study or go to the gym... And, of course, I have fun.

I know the next years I'll have afterschool activities, and I can't wait for them. We'll visit communities to help the people with medical care and we'll study at hospitals, and practice everything we've learned in live people (not those corpses anymore). Yes, it's gonna be awesome.

I do two hours of Tae Kwon Do on a Friday. Do that for two hours, and you will know the meaning of exhaustion! Apart from that... Well, nothing! Just videogames and talking to my friends.
