Video Games
They consume my life, in the past year I've spent a little over 600 dollars on games (and I'm pretty sure I missed a bit) and that's truly amazing especially considering my spending money amounts, one strange thing, looking back I spent 100 dollars I shoulnd't have made, have no memory of making and have no memory of any oppertunities to make the money, so... ya. It makes sense though, growing up my mom bowled, and believe it or not as a young child I didn't really enjoy sitting and watching people roll balls down a lane, but they had an arcade there, so, w00t, my sisters took me to the mall a lot, yet again, they spent a lot of time at the arcade. One of my sisters had a NES and since I rarely got to play it when I did I cherished it and tried to make the best of my time usually ended up playing for hours straight, and my sister's freind had a SNES he let me play wich was just awesome, I became very, very good at Mortal Kombat, I was 5-7 and could run through the game usually without dying but when I did only once, and I could kick my sister's freinds ass at it too. Also since I've been missing the '80s a lot lately, and striving to recreate them one of the major parts of this is the Atari and the NES.
And secondly, outer space and exploration. It's just that amazing feeling, that there's billions of light years of space out their that no one has ever laid eyes on, that, if you looked through a telescope and could see life, you could look at things that had died already. To efficently (sp) travel through it you'd need to go at amazing speeds, or if you reached about 300 000 KM/s you wouldn't age. And yeah, just that feeling of plunging into the unknown, the exccitement of being lost, all that jazz.

Like many others, I'm quite capable of stating online for hours straight. I also immensely enjoy playing games like Football Manager, lying down to listen to music, etcetera... but I wouldn't consider all these obsessions. For instance, I only stay online for, say, thirteen hours straight and/or play games when it's a holiday and there's nothing that I have to do. School work and other aspects of my life take priority over these, eh, "obsessions".
At the end of the day, anything is good, if done in moderation =)

I am now hooked on texting as well, now. I do it all the time during class, since it's just like talking on the phone--except teachers can't see us do it. As for the cost...I dunno. Let's hope that I have enough pre-paid messages. Otherwise I'm screwed.

I am completely obsessed with Pokemon. I know no-one in my family/close peer group/country who can stay awake longer than 4 seconds after I initiate a conversation about my Lv. 50 EV-trained, specially bred Exeggutor. Also, I was once a collector of Simpsons Comics. I gave up eventually, because I saw the light... of buying MORE VIDEO GAMES! All hail rampant consumerism and advertising! Also, I am addicted to sci-fi. Well, OK, Star Wars mainly. That and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, which is some of the best radio and book series that I have ever listened to/read.

I have a problem with fixing information for people, such as the following...
Registeel_Rocks wrote: -X-Play (Wait, parken' police! It's an abomination to all things video games and found on G4. It used to be on TechTV and promoted intelligent discussion of the games, but now has been dumbed down to the level of G4's target audience such that it is nothing more than "Dur, pwetty graffiX! It r 5!)
Terribly annoying, yet so terribly helpful..

Jigglypuff, I have a similar issue. My dad/mom/someone else says something wrong, I correct 'em, but then five minutes later I make a mistake lol
I'm adding something to my list.
The 'Alouette' song. Mme. Sweeney just had to play it for us in French, and now I can't get it out of my head... it's kinda sadistic (the translation), but still, it's pretty ^_^ (Literally translated, the chorus means 'Sparrow, sweet sparrow | Sparrow, I'm going to pull out your feathers'.)

Amazing! I thought almost no one but me loved that show. Such a great series...
Yeah, alot of people don't really like X-Play. I'm one of the few that enjoy laughing my head off watching it.
Anyways, my latest obsession is my Star Wars fan film I'm making with flaming_fox. When I finish it (filming of the short movie will commence in June '06), I'll be sure to put up a topic for it here with the link to it so that some other fans may watch it.

Well, it's not unhealty, but I am a HUGE fan of Star Wars. No, not that stereotypical Star Wars Fan who dresses up as some weird alien and goes to Conventions every day of the week, but I have ALL the movies, several games that I play ALOT, and also some other memorabilia. Oh, and I also know a lot about the Star Wars story that's not shown in the movies.

Currently I've been obsessed with a few things.
Reading online comics is the big one, I mean I must be trying to keep up with a hell of a lot, I can't even count them all on my fingers so I wont try.
City of Villains, & the only thing that can tear me away from that is City of Heroes. What can I say, I love the games. Only a few games can grab my attention more, & then it's only a temporary fix : /
Spending. Lately I've just had a craving to spend as much of my money as possible, & I wont feel happy until I've spent everything. It got to the point where I had to transfer all my money from my current account to my savings account to stop me spending all my savings ><
TV series. Namely 'Green Wing' & 'Bones'. I can't miss an episode. Even MMORPGS can't get in the way!

My obsessions....boy, where do I start?
My hair, my outfits matching (no I'm not gay, I'm Metrosexual ), mood rings (I own about twelve), Japan, green tea, caffiene in general, Pokemon, the internet, jokes at the expense of my ridiculously obese cat, frozen chicken nuggets, mac and cheese pizza (tastes better than it sounds), Sonic the Hedgehog, my iPod, My Will by Dream, the color blue, the color black, writing, reading, learning, sleeping, my cell phone, chewing gum, chewing pens/pencils (during tests, I guess), the state of the world, my own uber awesomeness, my grades, my culture, Mr. Pibb, Murasaki Shikibu, Kikyo, Anime in general, making/listening to music and every type of milk chocolate candy known to man.
**whew!!**
I guess you could say I have an addictive personality....

obsessions? i have none.. thats if u exclude the fact that im addicted to dr. pepper. and final fantasy, o and all pokemon games since they came out, and the interwebs isnt like an obsession than it is a lifestyle. im addicted to multiplayer online games. music is a given, im obsessed on making my hair look nice everyday for no reason. i also have an obsession with hitting every door handle on the hallway with at least one part of my body, well thats not really an obsession... its more like a design flaw
