It should be noted that A) The moving underlined blue word is the MOST ANNOYING THING ON THE PLANET! It kept screwing me up completely. B) Both of my "errors" were because I put in commas where they should have been: the last items in the list were not preceeded by a comma like I've always been taught. ie) "Cisco, Microsoft, and AOL." marked "Microsoft," wrong because they didn't put a comma in, therefore I must be at fault. C) The program at school says I average 78WPM with 97% accuracy, with a peak speed of 124WPM (and 100% accuracy at the same time).

This test needs more interesting subjects, as well as a non-blue-line version. Plus, I'm always faster typing if I'm looking at the characters that are appearing on the screen, not at something completely different. In fact, I'm typing this right now significantly faster than I was typing that test, because I'm able to see what I'm typing and instantly correct any potential mistakes, rather than waste precious microseconds for my brain to realize a finger hit a key it shouldn't have, look down to see I did indeed hit a wrong key, and then correct it.

That's my two cents.

I hate those tests, they always screw me up and my results are so innacurate. My typing is soo much faster when im typing what im thinking instead of trying to copy what it says there.

I type faster when I'm not copying, but not by much I don't think. I only made so many errors because I accidently typed an extra word that wasn't in the paragraph and continued to type. Every word after that was an error until I realized I was messing up and had to omit the next word to "fix" my error. I tried three, the fishing one came with the same results as the first, but the Oz one landed me a faster speed. Yay for me.

Typing an English text always goes slower, because I have to look at how the words are spelled before typing them. Other tests let you type random nonsense words, I think that is way more accurate.
