So, I came back here recently and looked at my "Psypoke Tourny" topic and found out it got a whopping 19 votes for yes! That means that there's well enough interest to start. Anyway, I'm looking for 8-16 sign-ups at least. The offical server is Smogon (nb.smogon.com) but I don't care where you do your matches as long as you get them done. This is planned to be done out over a period of time, unlike the other tournaments we tried where we tried to finish it all in one night. Okay? Okay. So here are the rules.

No OHKO moves (No Horn Drill, Fissure, Guillotine, or Sheer Cold)
No Evasion moves (No Double Team or Minimize)

XD moves WILL be allowed

This is ADV OU Tournament. This means, no ubers. If you are using ubers, then you are disqualified. You can, however, use pokemon from the OU, BL, UU, NU, and NFE (not fully evolved) tiers. We will be using the Smogon Tiers, because they are adequetly set up.

You do have to be a member though, but the registration is very easy. You can also enter in your prediction for the bracket, as there will be a prize for the winner with the most predictions (10 Psybucks).

I already said no Double Team, and that's basically no brightpowder already. The other hax moves are really heterosexual to begin with and shouldn't really be allowed because of how they can really mess up a game (RE: Example at the top). By the way, that edit has been up there for at least 3-4 days.

Also, what's wrong? Are you afraid that you can't win without luck? Afraid of actually using skill? =/ Sorry if this is harsh, but this is supposed to be a tournament of who has the best skill, not who can manipulate luck the best.

So what does that tell you? Just deal with the tournament! My tournament, my rules obviously. I say no hax items, so there are no hax items. It's as simple as that.

I have a few small questions about the tourney...

Shouldn't "No Spectators Allowed" be enforced to prevent scouting?

I am pretty sure it is not allowed, but just for reference, are people allowed to make edits to their team between rounds?

Spectators are allowed, because chances are, you aren't going to find the person you'll play next round, playing their match against their opponent.

Also, another reason why it is allowed is because, yes, you can make modifications between rounds. You can even change the entire team if you want, as long as it stays within the rules.
