Teresa stared at Jade in shock. "Y-you're alive..." She muttered in amazement, then said," What did they do to you?! The scroundrels, beasts, maggot thingys!" She noticed Jade's limp, then said, "Y'know, I just went to the stables..They've got plenty of horses there, ya know.I could get each of you guys one..." Dark snorted and shook his mane.

(YES!! You're back! Wilkomen! ))

Jade smiled at Teresa's hospitality.

"No thanks," she replied, "I am perfectly capable of walking it off." Then her face darkened "As for what happened, I woke up in a dark, dank room lit by torches. My arms were roped to a hook on the wall. I guess they weren't sure if I was dead or not and tried to play it safe by tying me up. Anyway, I searched the room for a way out, but quickly closed my eyes as a door on the opposite side of the room opened. I heard voices hissing to each other, and ever so slightly opened one eye. There stood two huge ape-like creatures with beady orange eyes and thick saliva dripping from their canine teeth. One had an execution axe, and as I realized who that was for, I had an idea. The rope I was bound to hung from the hook on the wall, allowing my body to rest on the ground, so when the beast came close I suddenly stood up and kicked him in the gut. Sure enough, he swung the axe at me. I ducked to the ground and the axe severed the rope, setting me loose. The fools had forgotten to take my sword, so I unsheathed it and let into them. Their howls brought a platoon of creatures just like them, many with torches and various cutting implements. After a very, very exhausting battle, I tore fabric from the clothing of one slain creature, wrapped my arrow wound which had been re-hashed in the fray, and raced off to find you all. That's when I heard an explosion and followed the resonating bang, and here I am."

Then, an army of growling voices erupted in the room behind them...

Teresa nodded. "Glad you survived. I-" She heard the growls, then muttered,

"Curses..."

She unsheathed Sieglinde and turned, diving into where the growls came. The knight slashed at some of the apes Jade had previously described, and took several hits as well before stumbling back. "Eh..Never fought anything like this before.." She muttered before charging once again, Sieglinde lashing mercilessly, and then something thwacked the sword out of her hand. Teresa slowly looked up to stare into the eyes of one of the creatures, then dove out of the way before it could hit her with the rusty, dirty looking sword it held. She managed to grab her sword, and mounted Dark. " You guys, I don't think we should stay.."

Diseh had stoped to say hi to Jade, but continued to run away from the creatures. Diseh dodged small shurubary, weeds, and roots make his way as fast as he could from those rat like creatures. Diseh spoted a fiery glow not too far off in the forest mabey 500 yards away. Diseh waited, mabey it's those creatures, or mabey something worse. It was getting dark and he needed somewhere to stay. Either way the rat creatures would just send him back to the others, or it might be friendly.
Diseh snuck up to the eiry glow. He saw a lonesome figure sleeping by the fire. He readied his staff, and lept like a wild beast at the figure. He stoped right in front of him. It was a human. The guy started to wake up...

Meanwhile, the ape-like creatures had unleashed their calvery...which consisted of heavily armored warriors atop skeletal horses. The evil steeds had eyes of fire...literally, thier pupils were fireballs that blazed high with a flame that trailed behind their heads. Their tails and manes were equally aflame, as were their hooves.

Jade flew along beside Teresa, trying her best to maintain her speed while half-hobbling on her bad leg. With each jarring step she silently cursed the beast who'd clubbed her in the knee when she thought it was dead. Wretched vermin. Part of her wished that she had a horse, yet part of her insisted that she be independent and tough it out. Just as she was about to lose her footing, she heard a shout from beyond the trees. Was it Diseh? She couldn't tell, but she regained her focus and raced on into the trees.

Diseh poked the guy with his staff. The guy murmured.

Diseh was soon joined by Jade as she came breezing through a net of bushes and skidded to a stop beside him.

"Hey, don't you have anything better to do besides stand around?" she demanded, "We're being chased by giant apes on seriously underfed stallions, and...." she stopped when she noticed the man on the ground. The young woman began to inquire about the stranger, when all of a sudden a fierce wind blasted through the clearing and put the fire out. She peered at Diseh suspiciously. "Please tell me you had something to do with that."

Dark kept on galloping towards where Diseh and Jade had gahered, then Teresa dismounted , Charly leaping off as well. The knight stared at the stranger's sleeping form, then jumped back when the flame was extinguished. The gale made her hair go all over the place, but it was over quite suddenly. "Um...Jade, Diseh, Charly....Should that thing be there...?" She said, pointing at what looked like a dragon crossed with a serpant. It's eyes were golden flames, and it had a pale light gren body that was alomst serpentine. It had two hind legs, and two huge wings, which looked strong enough to thwack a man unconsious with not even a single clout. It had long ivory claws, and two large fangs portuded from its upper lip. sparks of electricity and fire sparkled around it's eerie form, and Teresa knew that this was probably not exactly the freindliest creature in the world...

((No idea if it were good or not, but w/e...))

Jade's grip on her sword tightened.

"What the hell is that?" she thought aloud. As if in answer, the dragon drew back it's leathery green skull and blasted a huge wall of fire at the warriors. "The fire must've died as the beast landed," Jade reflected as the crimson glow raced toward them, "but then, why didn't we hear it?" The roar of the approaching flames snapped her back to reality. They had to do something, and fast.

Teresa froze, then lept out of the way, leaping onto Dark and yanking his reins so that he bounded out of harm's way. She unsheathed Sieglinde, then held on as Dark reared, preparing to charge."No idea, but this is probably not going to just stand there! Guys, I have a feeling this is no ordinary dragon of fantasic lore...I've never seen an overgrown wyrven like that, before..Sure, huge fire breathing beasts and such, but only in King Arthur Tales..." With a snarl, she took out Serain as well and tossed it like a javalin, it heasding straight for the dragon's neck. Teresa's heart wrenched as she saw the lance get smashed in half as the dragon's huge tail slapped it, then it lunged straight at everyone...

Geez, that guy could sleep through anything, huh?!

Teresa thought before grabbing the sleeping stranger and dumping him uncerimoniously on a patch of grass away from the flames.

Jade braced herself as the dragon came roaring at her.
"I won't have time to move," she thought. She closed her eyes tight. "Oh, man! This is it!" The earth quaked beneath her, and she opened one eye, finding herself face to face with the scaly snout of the creature. Then, something incredible happened. The dragon spoke!

"OUT OF MY WAY, HUMAN!!!!" it rumbled, brushing her aside like a rag doll. Jade was shocked as she watched the dragon face the trees, where the ape creatures had lined up on their eerie horses while the warriors were all distracted. He drew back his head, and let loose an enourmous blast of crimson napalm, the heat of which was so hot that it singed the samauri's eyelashed and blinded her for a few sweltering moments. Soon, the heat died and Jade looked to see that the apes (and all the trees in that direction) had been reduced to smouldering embers. Heat still rippled from the ashes as they began to cool. Then it all made sense.

"Of course!" she exclaimed to the great lizard, "that first shot wasn't at us, was it? You were aiming for the apes!" The dragon flared a nostril.

"IF MY INTENT WAS TO KILL YOU, YOU WOULD ALREADY BE SOOT IN THE WIND, WOMAN." it boomed, making the clearing shake. Jade stared in awe for a few moments, then gazed over at Teresa.

"You okay over there?" she called to the knight, "you almost got killed!"

((Sorry about role playing as the dragon guys. I kind of had to to make that work. In fact, why don't we make him a general character that we can all control as needed?))

Teresa's face was white as she nodded slowly, still staring at the beast witha mixture of awe and anger. She glanced at Serain's remains, which wasn't so bad, only the half with the tip, and the other , which was just a broken stick. It could easily be tied together and used again. Teresa stared at the dragon nervously, then muttered,"Sorry about the attack thing with Serain. I-um...Meh. I thought you were going to attack Jade, Diseh, Charly, this guy here and I, so um..." She stayed still, nervous.

Diseh pokes the guy thats still is sleeping. Then gets angry and wacks him with his quarterstaff. *Thud*

Teresa smacked her forehead. "Stupid me..Uh...Diseh..? Should you whacking him like that..? Although its quite funny to see him still sleep..Is he dead or something..?!"

Diseh swung it like a baseball bat and hit his head. *Crack* Diseh stopped. "No one heard that right?" A big red bump apered on the guy's head.

Jade turned and faced the gigantic reptile that had rescued them from certain death.
"Why did you save us?" she asked with a tinge of suspicion on her voice. The dragon chuckled, a deep gurgle that made her ears ache.
"SAVE YOU? HA!! I WOULD NEVER WASTE MY TIME ON A MERE HUMAN." He pointed a claw toward the sleeping man. "THAT IS THE ONE I WANT. HE HAS SOMETHING OF MINE!" Then he took a thunderous step toward the now quite bruised stranger. "STAND ASIDE, OR I SHALL FLAY THE SKIN FROM YOUR MEAGER BONES!!!"

Diseh looked at the dragon thing. "You mear pathetic reptile insult me?" The dragon was infuriated. "YOU CALL ME A PATHETIC REPTILE HUMAN?" The dragon got inches away from Diseh. Then the Dragon pulled back and summoned up a snot full of fire. Diseh lept away, and started to cast a sheild spell on himself. The Dragon turned his ugly head twords Diseh and let the Firey snot fly. The sheild went up, to nearly save Diseh.

((I hate you so much...))

Spence was watching in the background, "Well, this sucks!"
Suddenly, Spence heard voices in his head, Kill...kill...Diseh...must die...
Spence shook his head, "No...Not again..." but he failed, and his eyes turned a fiery red, as his clothes melted into the colour black.
Spence ran up to the dragon and jumped on its back, he then hissed at Diseh, while slashing his sword at him, breaking Diseh's shield.
Spence turned EVIL!!!

Diseh stoppes hitting the stranger and hits Spence over the head once.

As Spence spoke his mouth didn't seem to move, "Is that suppose to hurt!"
Spence and the beast charged at Diseh at full speed.
