Diseh whacked Spence on the head with his quarterstaff. "Thats for calling me a theif, you hipycrit." Diseh shook his head, and looked deep into the fire.

"Meh, takes one to know one I guess..." Spence punched Diseh in the shoulder, "Does anyone have something to say to me before we go to sleep, cause I know I did something bad!"

"Nothing except go to sleep and let the new day erase your guilt." Jade said with a smile. "and Goodnight."

Spence smiled, "Goodnight everyone!"
That night, Spence never got to sleep, he thought to himself, maybe he could have done things differently, maybe he could have saved Blake, he didn't know...

Teresa muttered a quiet "Good Night", then fell asleep. She woke up in the middle of the night, and looked around at the night air. It was as black as her stallion, the only light coming fom a pale silver moon. She breathed in the cool night air, and felt a breeze. She suddenly froze, rigid. It was unatural, what she heard. She felt a flicker of heat on her neck, and turned abrubtly. Nothing. She glimpsed fiery sparks amongst the trees, and then saw the rippling muscular body underneath them. SHe turned and fell asleep once more, dreaming of her brother. Last she knew of him, he was struggling to fight off a troop of enemy knights who had came in a surprise attack. Last she knew of him, he was on Dark's back behind her, bleeding and weak. She had left him in her bed, caring for him until she thought he was well...and then she left. Left to participate in jousting competiopns for money.
She turned in her sleep and groaned. Erik was alright, she knew he was...he was too strong to join his parents...Why, he was probably back in the knights of England, fighting for his country's glory...Or he was dead.

((Okay, I know that was long. I was bored. XP Anyway, thats all a dream, except for the animal thingy. ))

Jade opened one eye.

"What was that?" she thought. She could feel a charge of sacred energy in the air. But...this energy was tainted. Evil.

She sat up rubbed her eyes, then she felt a hot wind blast in through the trees, ruffling her kimono and flash burning her face. It was like opening the lid of a wok too fast....

The young woman turned and was shocked at what she saw. A great bird was speeding down out of the sky right at them! It's feathers were made of dark crimson flames that breezed behind it as it flew, giving it the appearence of a huge comet shrieking down from the sky. It's eyes were two crimson chambers of light, sinister and intimidating.

"That..." Jade choked, dumbfounded by the sight, "th..that's a Phoenix!" She had seen these creatures depicted on fans and screen paintings, and had heard tales of their great power, but never had imagined that she would be on the recieving end of a Phoenix's fury. In fact, they were supposedly peaceful, benign creatures. So why this sudden attack? It had to be Black Magic. The Necromancer had returned.

Jade rushed around and violently shook her companions awake.
"Get up, NOW!" she cried, "Get up or we'll all be toast, literally! We've got to MOVE!!!"

Diseh was sleeping so heavily. "Mmmmmmmmm toast, make me toast jade." Diseh kept on snoaring.

"Diseh!" Spence jumped on him three times, "Use Blizzard, you fool!"
"A Phoenix?" Spence choked, "What the hell?"
Spence took a hold of his sword, "Somebody, throw me at it, now!"

Diseh was in a deep dream. "mmmmm cold... so cold.. hott... Tori?" Diseh was dreaming of his life back home. He had met a girl, who was intrested in magic, and he tought her some stuff.

Diseh rolled on the ground. Diseh snorted, and snored. Diseh stuck his palm out and started to say some words. Wind gusts came out of his palm spreading the fire from the phoniex to the forest setting it up into a fiery blaze.

Jade didn't really know what Spence was planning, but she grabbed him by the shoulders from behind.

"Don't you dare die on me." she whispered in his ear, tightening her grip as she spoke the words in a shaking voice. Then she mustered all her strength, and with suprising power given her size she heaved him up into the air.

Spence flew at the fiery bird with awesome speed, "Take this!"
He held his sword with both hands as he span slashing the flames as his blade united the bird. The Phoenix burnt to ash as it settled on the ground.
Spence put down his weapon to check out the ash that lay, "Don't worry everyone; Phoenixes are reborn, each time they die."
The ash blew away in the wind, "Meh, I didn't get to sleep anyway, so Jade," Spence turned to her, "How did I do?"
Spence weighed his huge sword in his hand, "It's lighter, what do you say Jade, will you train with me before sunrise?" Spence pointed to a hilltop nearby.
"Funny," Spence went on, "The forest, where's the fire?"

Jade was very shaken by the sight of the Phoenix gaining on them.

"I...I don't know if I'm in the right state of mind to spar..." then something clicked in her brain.

"Hey, where is the fire? Was that all an illusion? Maybe it was meant to distract us....but from what?" She narrowed her eyes and began to search her surrounding furiously. "Something is odd about this whole situation."

Teresa's eyelinds snapped open as she stared at the sight of Jade and Spence standing there staring at what appeared to be ashes. Her spine tingled as she felt the cold feeling that she was being watched...SHe whipped around. Nothinng. he must've been imagoning things...SHe sighed, then said, "What hapened?" nervously.

Diseh was still sleeping and still dreaming of toast...

*Dream state* "Mmmmmm toast." Diseh was speaking to a girl named Tori, and they were both back in Diseh's time. "Thx for the toast tor." Tori's face lit up. "Your welcome." She was blushing. "You ready for your next leseon Tor?" Tori was all excited, and egar to learn from him. Tori was only 2 months younger then Diseh and they had been good friends since Diseh moved to New York. They started to practice some simple magic, but then Tori let out a big wind burst and blasted many objects. "Sry Diseh." Tori was pleading with Diseh, but he liked her too much to get mad. He got in really close with her. "We've been friends a good time tor... What do you think of me?" Tori was boggled, but confussed. "Uhhhhhhh... well, errr..." Diseh leaned in for a kiss... Then Jade's face appered, and the room disapated. *

Diseh had woken up, and was very startled. "Where am I? Ohhh it's just you guys, I saw Jade's face, and I was Frightened." Diseh got up.

Teresa muffled a laugh, saying," That's not funny, Diseh. Thats not funny." She giggled before quieting, embaressed.

"It seems to me that..." Spence interrupted, "This place is very surreal, maybe it has different ways of dealing with things than our worlds!"
Spence pointed to the trees, "They should be set alight, but they are not, maybe trees don't burn in this world, or maybe, this place isn

Teresa stifffened. "What kind of fire was it? Man-made fire and natural fire would'vre burnt it down, right? Would a dragon's? It is a mythial beast, so the fire is probably a diferent type as well, not damaging our land." She shrugged and glanced at Dark, who was grazing. "Just a thought, though..."

"Well I dont know, I belive in many things guys, but you know..." Just then I giant bird, made of ice swooped down, and picked up Diseh and charley, with it's icy claws.

((Ok here's whats going down. Charley and I are getting sepperated from Moongale, and Miasma. This way we can branch off for now, and join again a little latter. The plot will thicken, and become more intresting.))

Jade stared up at the sky as the bird got farther and farther away.

"Oh my god," she cried, "Diseh, Spence!!" Her voice died as the bird became no more than a pale blue dot in the sky. They were gone. Jade sank to her knees in disbelief. "Why? Why were we brought here like this? Have I not endured enough pain in my life already?" Suddenly, she drew her sword and pitched it at a tree , where it punctured all the way through the trunk. Her face darkened as she got to her feet and walked over to it. She gripped the handle, and with a furious, grief-laden shout, she flashed the blade sideways out through the trunk that held it, whereupon the tree toppled over with a thunderous crash that raised dust and rattled the forest. Jade stood motionless beside her kill, staring angrily into the forest, sword still held out to her left hand side.

Then, she sheathed the weapon and turned to Teresa.
"We've got to find them." she said in a small, fragile voice. "Up until now, I've had to live with the fact that everyone I've ever trusted is buried in the charred ground that once supported my villiage. I won't let Black Magic destroy anyone I've put my trust into ever again!!!" She turned and punched a dent into another unlucky tree with a crunch, sending splinters flying in all directions. The young woman got quiet again. "We'd better get moving," she said softly, "before it's too late." And with that, she turned and started off, seemingly unaware of the blood that flowed from her skinned knuckles.

Teresa's eyes widened, staring first at the fleeing bird, then at the furious Jade. She nodded slowly, then followed, glancing every now and then at the sky. She thought she felt a drop of...could it be? Snow! She looked up, and several more flakes of the beautifuly cold substance drifted from the sky. Teresa's eyes widened as she saw the blackening sky, and she tapped Jade's shoulder. "Jade." She glanced at the sky, and felt the wind start to pick up. "Jade, I think we're about to be caught in a blizzard. It may be just me, but this snow is starting to come down awfuly hard.."

"No," Spence struggled to escape the legendary bird, but it was no good, Spence was tired from lack of sleep and the sheer cold that the bird gave off, he gave up.
Spence called to Jade and Teresa, "Don't worry about us, we'll be fine!"
Suddenly, his hands become numb, his grip on his blade became weak, "No!" the sword fell to the ground as it ripped through the clouds, "NOOOO!!!"
Spence was stuck, he didn't know what to do, and he didn't know where they were going.
He turned to Diseh, "Diseh, are we gonna be alright?" Spence questioned.

Diseh was struggling, and went spastic. "Ahhhhhhhh.... uhhh I don't know Spence. I'm not a fortune teller." Diseh became very cold, and began to become numb. Diseh slipped fell from conciessness, and fell unconsioues.

"Diseh!" Spence didn

Jade realized that the tears that had welled up in her eyes were beginning to freeze.
"This can't be good," she observed, "we'd better find shelter, and fast." The samauri started searching her surroundings for a place to escape the blistering cold that had suddenly gripped the forest. Then, she struck upon an idea.
"Teresa, do you think that perhaps the dragon fang might help? It is magical, after all."
